Excellent quirky hotel. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. Room was very comfortable with those little extras to make you stay even more pleasurable. The food was truly excellent and the bar / restaurant full of character. I had the Chilli, which is highly recommended and a pitcher of Blue Moon Beer, a great way to relax after a...

Fantastic hotel and restaurant. Stayed here for one night while in the area on business. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Food was amazing, bring an appetite!!! Room was really nice and the shower the best I've ever had in a hotel.

We visited here overnight and what a surprise! Lovely furnished rooms, comfortable bed and fantastic shower. The service was good, shown to our room and member of staff pointed out the amenities in our room. The restaurant was fun, very good American style fare. The staff were attentive and on hand if you needed anything. Breakfast the next morning was...

As a hotel resident asked for a drink after arriving at 22:15 on a Saturday evening to be told "the bars closed" there's always a first for everything, just be aware if you think you may have a drink after a long drive !!

We wanted to go for lunch somewhere different, this was it, good food and lovely atmosphere, it was basic cowboy style food/ mexican .Slightly too sweet would be my only negative. They had a lovely bar area with saddles for stools and a good kids menu too. Toilets were spotless as was the whole attraction ,it is also a hotel although...

Tassimo coffee machine in the room. Very comfortable stay and we will definitely return. Great location. Very good breakfast. Lovely helpful and friendly...

Wanted to stay here for a while, but always booked up, finally been and would stay again. Housekeeping lady is wonderful and friendly, comfortable rooms and nice shower. Cold bathroom though. 8.5/10. Fun place not ideal for kids to stay as nothing for them to do, apart from running up and down the corridor at 7am!!! Parents obviously have no...

Stayed over night for a birthday treat with the wife, room was a good size with a shower in the bathroom and a coffee machine in the room aswell as a colour TV, precook a table if you do stay as it can get quite busy as the food is superb. The only odd thing is the serving of larger...

The wife and I had a one night escape without the kids and decided to visit Tunbridge Wells where we had been a couple of times before. We wanted to stay at a different hotel from the previous visits and after reading the positive reviews on TripAdvisor I booked The Smith and Western. The service was excellent. Our room was...

Had never visited this chain before. With 3 birthdays to celebrate in half term and my husbands love of all things country booked by phone and stated 3 birthdays in party of five. Food ok, not much difference to any Harvester, except the top heavy prices.(£18 for a double burger). Despite mentioning birthdays to the server, a 50th 18th and...
