Professional staff. Very comfortable, clean and quiet hotel in a great location. We found that there was on site parking and not just for disabled but is first come first served at very reasonable £5 for 24hrs. Breakfast was wide ranging and very well run by staff. Room was on 4th floor at front facing main road was very quiet with little noise from road or fellow rooms. Felt like a flagship Premier Inn. Great location only 5 mins walk from nice older High St area restaurants and The Pantiles

This hotel is quite new so everything is in top class order and it's in a great location for the town centre and nearby attractions. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the bathrooms contain powerful showers. Parking is free but very limited with about 12 spaces only in addition to a couple of accessible bays at the front of the hotel. The downside for me was the attitude and poor service from staff on breakfast duty. Without going into detail the staff need some lessons in customer service and could learn a lot from the staff in the Chatham/Gillingham Premier Inn who had a totally different attitude to guests.

Me and my friend who is 37 weeks pregnant stayed in Premier Inn for the night and had a lovely stay. We had a room with a double bed and a single bed so she had the double bed all to herself which she felt was very comfortable. Location is brilliant for walking distance in to town. Parking is limited on site but there is a multi-storey car park around the corner which is £10 for 24 hours which you can pay for and extend using the RingGo app.
The breakfast in the morning was table service due to Covid. It came briefly and was decent. Ahmed served us and was friendly and attentive. The hotel does well with regards to social distancing and could not fault our stay at all.

If you like waiting around, you’re in for a treat at this Premier Inn. Rooms were supposed to be available from 2pm but we only got in at 5.30pm. A lot of fed up guests were also waiting due to an issue with ‘housekeeping’ apparently.
After finally entering our room, while it was big for the 4 of us, the bathroom smelt like it had been cleaned with a dirty cloth, there were only 2 cups and 2 tea bags on a filthy tray which my wife washed herself. In the shower gel/ shampoo dispenser was an almost finished hand wash dispenser bag.
Wanting a drink, I went down to the bar and was told I’d need to wait about 30 mins as they were ‘too busy’ to serve drinks, even though the restaurant didn’t look busy.
Breakfast the next morning was another long wait. You’re asked to choose a time but our 8.30am choice was too popular so we took 8.15am. Not that it made any difference as we only got out food 40 mins later. Although it’s ‘unlimited’, you have to ask for more and after the initial wait, we decided not to bother. Finishing off with pancakes, we found they didn’t have most toppings you’d expect and when they came, they were cold. Also, despite the ‘covid measures’ our table hadn’t been wiped down as there was glass marks on the table and we saw one other have a second set of guests without being cleaned. When we checked out, the disinterested staff didn’t even ask if we’d had a nice stay. Will not be revisiting.

managed to secure a twin room for just £30 on the first Sunday of half term. Royal Tunbridge wells is close to so many lovely gardens such as Penhurst, Hever Castle etc. We had a lovely afternoon at Chartwell before making our way to Tunbridge Wells overnight. The carpark was full so we drove up the side of the Premier Inn (Vale Road) to the nearest carpark. £10.40 for 24 hours, overnight rate was £1.50 after 6pm if you aren't planning to stay long.
Our twin room on the fourth floor was actual a large double and a single, perfect for my daughter and myself. It was so spacious we even had a chair in it! You only got one pillow per person so worth asking in reception for more if you like two.
The bathroom was immaculate with a powerful hot shower. Although the step down from the bath is a big one for my little legs!! The only downside is that normally I leave the bathroom light on during the night with the door ajar as my daughter isn't keen on the total darkness of hotel rooms. However the fan kicks in after a few minutes which rendered that impossible. All the usual Premier inn stuff was there from tea/coffee making facilities to a decent TV.
We decided not to eat in due to the fact we are trying to support local businesses. There are lots of restaurants - chain and otherwise - in the town, some literally minutes away. We had the best breakfast ever at Casa cafe just 3 minutes walk away.
The Pantiles is 5 minutes in one direction, the other shops/main part of town about 10-15 minutes the other way. The parks are lovely, the architecture gorgeous. It really is a pleasant place to stay and just ditch the car. For those coming in from London the station is a mere five minutes walk.

We stayed here for two nights at the beginning of April and would highly recommend. The staff go above and beyond to be helpful and they’re customer service is fantastic (always with a smile and nothing is ever too much trouble). Gavin in particular was incredibly helpful in printing off a document at the last minute.
Our stay cost £58 for two nights (2 adults and a child). My daughter and I ate dinner there one night which was reasonably priced (large portion sizes). The breakfast is £9.50 per adult with kids eating free (there is a slightly cheaper continental option available). This covered unlimited cereals, pasties, breakfast drinks and the standard cooked English breakfast foods. All delicious.
The location of this Premier Inn is quite central and within walking distance of different shops, bars and other entertainment venues. The only downside is the lack of parking attached to the Premier Inn itself. The nearest car park is just up the road (a one/two minute walk) and the charge is £10.40 per day.
The cleanliness of our room and restaurant were of a high standard. The room itself was comfortable and had a wardrobe, a hairdryer and a shower.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

I have no car but found this hotel no great walking distance from Central station or down to the Pantiles. Not sure if purpose built but new enough to have no eternal photos on website. My end of corridor room was on the first floor. Unusually the room window was frosted glass so unsure what was outside. An easier heating system not needing a diagram was on the wall and the usual amenities. Missing for now at least are Gideon bibles and dinner! Having had two rigatonis elsewhere I opted to dine at the Wetherspoon Opera House as the takeaway menu is the same anywhere. Plenty of staff at breakfast, They were serving people in turn although one diner shouted "service!" three times. One staff member was continuously feeding a toaster guests cannot use themselves. Two lifts were enough for me to avoid riding with other people, but some on my floor preferred the stairs.

We got to the hotel at 9.33pm and we waited about 40 minute for someone to check us in there was no one else waiting to be checked in. The beds in the room was horrible! My partner got up half way through the night to sleep in his car! The temperature in the room was also unbearable. When we asked for clean towels as the other ones was used to wipe away sweat we was refused. When we was getting into the car on the first morning there was a cleaner out size swearing and kicking the bin while I was stood there with two children. When I complained to the manager about the beds and the temperature in the room he exact words was “there is nothing I can do about it” and walk off! The only good think I can say about the stay was the cook was very friendly and willing to cater to everyone needs and the breakfast even though it was set like a buffet was very fresh and cooked perfectly!

Only disappointment was that staff were not wearing masks despite notices requesting guests to wear masks which all guests adhered to
Rooms were comfortable and bathrooms perfect with walk-in shower. It was a shame that supply problems affected the evening meal options so were forced to eat elsewhere. Breakfasts though were perfect

The hotel is very conveniently located close to the high street and train / bus station which made getting out and about easy. Bathroom was great with bathtub and shower with great pressure & really hot water. The towels were large & of good quality.
No pillow on the single bed asked three times & had to ask again at 9pm at night & stayed at reception till we got it.
Morning of our check out we stripped the beds for the staff, wish we hadn’t, the mattress cover of the king sized bed had blood on and looked like it need a good wash.
Evening restaurant staff seemed poorly trained. On the first evening a lot of the menu was not available and what was available was very poorly cooked. Example we ordered two fish starter fish Goujons & Calamari, when the items arrived (took 40minutes and only then after prompting) the calamari was defiantly deep fried As you had to use a napkin to soak off the oil, but it was so over cooked they were like eating rocks & less than five minutes’ later the 2rd course turned up and put on the table. We informed the waitress that the calamari was uneatable and was informed by her that the way they delivered & chef just reheats & she (waitress) just walked off. 2rd course was well cooked. Ordered dessert (big Mistake) after forty minutes waiting for two slices of cheesecake, we gave up. These restaurant was less than half full and now I can see why. . No apologies for delays in very slow food service.
Breakfast, first morning the whole area at 9am needed a good clean, dirty dishes everywhere & the staff member was drying the cutlery! 2rd morning the area was clean and fresh
Lack of staff in charge, lack of responsibility and severe lack of anyone wanting to remedy the situation
Really disappointed in this hotel. Stayed many times at Premier inn hotels. I wouldn’t stay here again given the choice

Yes, we left our bags there before our room was ready
About a 5-10 minute walk. Google Maps says it's half a mile.
The restaurant is quite large. Booking a table is recommended.
