Detailed Reviews
Absolutely wonderful experience, I was stunned by the standards. I visited back in January for a night, I really wish we could have stayed longer. The location was lovely and the building design was unique and memorable. You have everything you need, I loved the modern touches especially the keypad/code.
I would describe the interior of having attentive and thoughtful touches that make all the difference, amazing use of the space inside to make it feel cozy but not claustrophobic. I feel like this is a perfect way to experience the dream 'apartment life', emphasised by the gorgeous room aesthetics (going to look into getting a Robert radio, it just added so much!).
The only thing I would add would be curtains in the living room area, I was on the ground floor so I was a little paranoid people could see through the blinds from the street. We tested it and you couldn't of course, but I do feel like it would make it feel more 'private'. Not at all a huge problem though!
The kitchen would be extremely useful as again it has everything you need, I wish we had stayed longer to take advantage of it. The place was also completely spotless which I appreciated a lot. I'm honestly trying to find excuses to come back to Hull just so I can stay here, I definitely want to visit again before it gets so popular I can't squeeze a booking in! Beautiful hotel with an amazing staff behind it, thank you so much for a wonderful experience and please keep up the meaningful touches(:

+1
We stayed last night and this place is great! Really easy access to the property, very spacious with lovely kitchen and living room area, private balcony area, large bedroom with very comfy bed, lovely bathroom as well.
Really clean and if you were here on business you wouldn’t mind being here for a few days at all! Kitchen has lovely little thoughts like fresh ground coffee and a fresh pint of milk in the fridge, plus oven and microwave.
Great place to call home for a few days, parking over the road in a cheap multi storey £9 for 24hrs and very close to Fruit Market and other local attractions.
Lovely treat and very good value. Highly recommend x

We have stayed here twice in the last month to visit family in Hull and as we are likely to have to come back quite regularly we will definitely stay again.
We have both times stayed in apartment no 3 which is one of the apartments accessed directly from the street and we really like that. Both times we had a takeaway curry and sat on the patio area to eat it. It’s great to sneakily watch the passers by! The hotel is opposite the Minster (Trinity Church) and so of course there are the regular bells but we like it, particularly the peels on the hour and it didn’t disturb our sleep.
The bed is really comfortable and large which we suits us well and the bathroom is modern and well appointed with lovely large fluffy towels. The very nature of the place is contactless even before Coronavirus regulations and it allows you to very much come and go as you please. Despite the lack of face to face contact, the owners offer a very personal service by email and respond quickly. On our second visit here was a lovely handwritten welcome back note and chocolate!
We also use the hotel parking which offers peace of mind and the use of your personalised pin code to enter that and the apartment is very efficient.

Stayed here with my partner while exploring old stomping grounds in Hull. The apartment was clean, bright and beautiful with many nooks to curl up and read in while a shower passed. The church bells do chime regularly but they leave earplugs should that bother you. It didn't affect either of us and we quite enjoyed hearing the time pass.
Lovely toiletries in the bathroom and milk, tea and coffee in the kitchen. Right next door to a fantastic food market and in spitting distance of trendy Humber Street. Cannot recommend this wonderful place enough! Thank you for a great stay.

Stylish, comfortable and squeaky clean, the apartment was a pleasure to call home for a few days. We particularly enjoyed the huge comfy bed, the shower and the gorgeous morning light through the minster-facing bay windows. Communication from management was very courteous and friendly, and they were eager to ensure any requests were met - we felt very looked after. The location is perfect, we loved stepping down into the square in the morning and having a range of independent market stalls just next door in Trinity Market. We’d definitely stay again, overall amazing value for the price.

By all accounts of an earlier review the longer term guest had issues with refuge collection, he means refuse but never mind (lol) and the bells too! On checking the bells had been in the tower for 400+ years and they are a delight to hear, ringing out on Monday evening this fine skilled traditional art that is very much heard but the bellringing volunteers not seen. Long May they continue and long May the fine Minster stand in the centre of Hull as it is an absolute asset, as is the Hideout!
Being a regular traveller across many countries in Europe and wider, this gets top marks, why? Simply because it works, it’s beautifully specked, wood flooring, deep granite grey and white in the bathrooms, the rainfall showed a delight, two televisions one lounge, one bedroom, lovely kitchen, comfy sofa, it could not, neither should it be faulted and that’s why the earlier reviewer was complaining about aspects outside of this building and if you just think for a minute, the owners have put a lot of investment in, this is now the result, it cannot be bettered, unless the last reviewer wants a Caribbean Sea view, but in Hull that’s stretching it a little. Hull itself reminds me of how Liverpool became such a vibrant city, I sense the same here and it’s future is only just re-starting. Good luck Hideout, you deserve it, your attention to detail is the best. Definitely stay there again without hesitation & cannot wait to hear the bells pealing out across this city.

We had decided on a short midweek break in Hull, and picked the hideout hotel based on its location and review scores, plus we enjoy the flexibility of an apartment style hotel. Great communication from the team at hideout, hotel and room were very clean and well decorated and amenities were excellent. Couldn't fault the location or standards at all, highly recommended

Just returned from an overnight stay in room 12 (we were upgraded) and would most definitely stay again.
From the moment I booked online for both room and car parking everything ran exceptionally smoothly without a hint of face to face human intervention necessary but easily contactable.
Really comfortable, super bathroom, spacious, spotless, and peaceful location in historical area of Hull.
A fabulous overall impression and service.

Clean with lovely decoration. A classy apartment hotel in a very central location. We were upstairs in apartment 12 which had a view right into the minster.
Apartments were very quiet inside, although the street noise on the bank holiday weekend nights was loud. Earplugs were on the bed on our arrival, but I have my own which I always use anyway and we slept very well.
Milk, coffee, tea, biscuits etc were all in the kitchen. Very fast Wi-Fi, two good TVs with Freeview and internet, good oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, comfy 6’ bed and a lovely bathroom.
Car parking felt very secure. I parked nearby for 15 minutes to unload, then walked back from the car park which took 5 minutes by cutting through the Lowgate car park.
Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Hideout for 2 months and we could not have chosen a better place. They went out of their way to accommodate our every need from us making booking changes to providing extra room supplies. The stuff are all friendly especially Jodie and Enya, not once did we encounter a stuff member with a bad attitude like in some hotels we have stayed at. This hotel is close to everything especially if you are coming to Hull for a night out or two. We would most definitely stay here again and hope to return in the future.
