We too were paid for by a local caravan manufacturer and we were certainly not disappointed. The accommodation was very clean, quite modern and well equipped. All the components for a continental breakfast were provided in the room, which was a bonus as we had an early start. We ate in the bar the previous evening; the food was fine...

Clean, fresh and modern. Nice size room with good wifi. Very good value for money. Continental breakfast in the room but I guess a cooked breakfast would put the price up. Friendly staff and a nice pub too.

Once again a great meal with family and friends, been to The Ships Quarters many times over the years and have never once had a bad meal. Great selection of beers and the staff just finish off what is a great experience.

Stayed here for one night, courtesy of the local motorhome manufacturer. We had a double en suite room. All rooms are in a quiet forecourt. Lovely clean room, comfy bed and a bath and shower with oodles of piping hot water, tv etc. If we are ever in the area again and need a room I would not hesitate in...

We called in after a trip to the garden centres nearby for something to eat. My wife and daughter had roast lamb with all the trimmings and I had a steak and ale pie. It was all really well cooked, a decent sized portion for what we paid. We will definitely be back again.

Beautifully set in a courtyard arrangement with covered walkway, great for us as it was a rainy weekend. The rooms are well kept, well appointed and very comfortable. A well stocked and welcoming mini-fridge with milk, orange juice and water. Complimentary breakfast items and fresh croissants with preserve. That's just the accommodation which is hidden behind a traditional and equally...

Two couples enjoyed a Sunday lunch. Busy little pub with friendly staff and selection of standard fayre. Three of us tucked in to the steak and ale pie, which was delicious and you could really task the ale. One tried the prawn salad and was very impressed with the size of the portion of prawns. As we'd taken our pet...

Called in on the off chance. Much bigger than we had thought. Very comfortable pub and everyone was very friendly. We only had a baguette for lunch but end g up skipping our evening meal as the food was ample and very tasty. Will be making it regular stop from now on.

Thank Andy H
