I was organising a walk for our group of 14 people and tried this inn for our lunch at the end of the morning's walk. The gentleman in charge could not have been more helpful. We pre-ordered our meal before the walk and often find that we have to wait for anything up to 40 minutes or more at some...

Every good Friday we get together as a family and have fish and chips but this year we though why queue up and pay lots of money for subpar food when we know a place we can get a banging fish from. All but one of us got the traditional fish and chips. The fish was huge! Not because they...

We rang ahead to book as we are a party of 5 eating (2 adults 3 children and baby) and thought could be busy at Sunday lunch - it quickly filled up although not everyone had booked. We were made welcome straight away, shown to our table (an ample size for us all - very nice not to be crammed...

If you've got a big appetite then this is definitely the place for you. We chose here after after the place we'd intended to visit was closed - I'm glad it was. On arrival we were shown to a table in the conservatory and our drinks order was taken. It's a good menu and after a short while we chose...

Food was 40 mins late from point of order. Had to ask where it was. The manager said he would check and let me know. No one came back to tell us anything. Food arrived later on and not even an apology. Food was already paid for at point of order so no quibble over the bill. Having contacted them...

Thanks for your review; food was 40 minutes from point of order (37 to be precise), though our menu clearly states that fresh food is cooked to order and that on most days 20 - 30 minutes might be usual. Your visit was on exceptionally busy Saturday, the day before mothering Sunday, as we were so busy food took a...

I am in the process of securing a wedding venue with my fiancé and so in mid February we had a consultation at Gardeners. We were shown around the premises including the bridal suite. We were given plenty of information on the venue capacity and how the day would proceed. We were sat down to go over costing's and though...

Sadly I could not find a listing for the restaurant separately to the listing under " B&Bs / Inns in Kingston-upon-Hull" so the rating will be skewed as I am not in a position to rate the rooms etc. My wife and I had been to Beverley prior to going on to our hotel in Hull and having read decent...

Well for a change we decided to visit the gardeners inn for a family meal, not booked just went off the cuff. It was chucking down with rain and was a welcome change to the usual places we have been. A big bonus was it was curry night. We all ordered different meals and they all came prompt and well...
