Hotel is located in a beautiful square. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was pleasant and clean. Breakfast was freshly cooked and to a high standard and it was very reasonably priced. We will definitely come back and have already recommended it to others.

This weekend was our fourth stay at the Kingston Theatre Hotel. It never disappoints. The staff can't do enough for you and are so friendly and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with a huge bed and huge bathroom. We ordered breakfast the night before and had it delivered to our room in the morning. The cooked breakfast arrived hot and was tasty. The continental elements of the breakfast were great quality. The city centre is less than 10 mintues walk away but you don't feel like you're in the centre as it's so quiet. The hotel have also put so many things in place to make you feel comfortable during COVID, there was even a complimentary face mask and wipes in the room. I would (and do) recommend the Kingston Theatre Hotel.

Have stayed a few times through work and each time have enjoyed my time at this hotel.

The hotel is situated in a quiet area of Hull but not too far from the centre. Opposite is a well maintained gardens area with a couple of benches.

The staff are really friendly and approachable - no request seemed too much trouble, even at busy times. The place has a real family run feel to it.

The food provided by the chefs was well turned out. Variances to the menu were provided when asked; chef specials appear regularly - the lamb was superb.

Hygiene protocols are in place, screens etc, plenty of sanitiser available and surfaces were regularly sanitised.

I recently stayed for 5 days here and to quickly summarize, the stay was outstanding. I had a 1st Floor room that overlooked a park. The room immediately took me back... it was massive. It had a very good mix of dated features along with modern elements. Room(s) were very clean, along with the bathroom.

As this was business related, we were isolating for a few days and doing a Covid test at the hotel as well. The staff truly deserve all the credit as their service was impeccable. Daily meal time orders and food that was top quality.

Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Hull for a few days.

Pros: Accommodating staff, large rooms, Smart TVs with access to Netflix and YouTube, walk-in closet, location in Hull, excellent food options, umbrella provided, USB wall outlets at bedside

Cons: Very narrow, winding staircase to anything above ground level

Our works Christmas Party booked Snobs suite at the hotel and rather than messing about with taxis we booked a room for the night. On arrival reception was a great experience taking only a couple of minutes and I was off about 200m to put my car in the local car park included. Back in the room it was an decent sized double room absolutely immaculate including a spacious bathroom. Fridge, iron and board and coffee making facilities included. The evening function was pleasant and the hot and cold buffet was excellent. Pate and prawn cocktail starters, chicken goujons, pigs in blankets and crunchy mini roast were the warm selection then there was a wonderful array of mini baguettes with fresh sliced Turkey and stuffing, Brie and cranberry and others, cheeses pickles and then a lovely cheesecake or profiteroles to finish. Bar prices decent for a hotel with Amstel at £5,50 a pint. There followed a lovely nights sleep and an excellent breakfast in the morning of cereals, fruit, yoghurt etc backed up by a full English with tea coffee and toast. All in all a great package from the hotel well recommended.

This hotel is situated in a lovely quiet area but still within walking distance to the town. In our opinion a sensibly priced, quality hotel.
We recently stayed in rooms 1 and 2, both rooms were clean and bright, very comfortable with little extra touches like free bottled water and pillow spray.
We were made to feel very welcome at reception on arrival, who provided information for the complimentary car park and also arranged our taxi for the evening. It is very refreshing to visit a hotel where all the staff are warm and friendly and nothing seems too much trouble. Please pass our compliments to all your staff.
Good choice for breakfast, full English cooked to your liking with cereal/ fresh fruit and plenty of tea/coffee, all served with a smile.
We will definitely stay here the next time we visit Hull.

We visited this hotel when staying overnight in Hull and at first a little apprehensive as it is an old establishment but these concerns quickly disappeared. We had room number 4, a suite overlooking the small park, the room while a little dated was very clean and spacious. The only downside was you could only open one of the windows and while a fan was supplied it was inadequate in this heatwave.

All staff were very helpful, friendly and nothing appeared to be too much of a problem to them. The building was very clean and covid safe. We had two meals at the hotel, a light evening meal and breakfast both exceeded our expectations for the price and to be honest the freshly cooked breakfast was equal to some more expensive four star hotels we have stayed in.

Would we recommend/return: Yes most definitely.

We stayed for one night to watch a show at the Theatre opposite the hotel. The service that we received went above and beyond, from the initial booking call, to the time we left. And incidentally, we were all sorry to go home. The room was absolutely spotless. Incredible value for money. Massive! Super comfy beds. So quiet. There were some really thoughtful touches; pack with mask and hand gel, clean remote control, water in fridge, biscuits and toiletries. All the staff were cheery and welcoming. Thank you Nicky for booking us in. We really couldn’t have wished for anything more and will definitely be back!

Having booked tickets to see Les Mis at Hull New Theatre my partner and I needed a conveniently situated Hotel for a one night stay, and we were delighted with our choice. Our room was beautifully decorated with nice touches, like complimentary pillow spray. The dinner menu was quite basic however the steak pie we chose was delicious with generous portions. It's certainly a strong 3* Hotel and we would not hesitate in booking again as the Theatre is literally over the road and central to the city

This is the second visit to this hotel, only this time around I brought a party of 14 very judgemental OAP's, and everyone of them to a man said how brilliant their stay had been. We had originally booked the Theatre Dine and Stay package but as the show got cancelled (twice - thanks Covid) we decided to add an extra night and visit Hull for a two night break, and very glad we did.
The hotel is very very clean and well presented.
The restaurant menu has a good choice and the meals are first class, well cooked and presented.
The location is ideal, especially for the Hull New Theatre and it is not too much of a hike to the Museum Quarter and the Old town and marina.
And finally, the staff here are Excellent, very helpful, pleasant and polite, it was a pleasure to visit and stay, thank you to all who made our visit so enjoyable.
I/we will certainly come here again, sooner rather than later.
