A traditional pub that serves good meals and good beers. Friendly staff, cosy real fires. There was a good atmosphere in there the Saturday night we were in. We were made to feel welcome by staff and locals alike.

As a frequent visitor to the crown and anchor we have never been disappointed with either the food or the standard of service. Not the most adventurous menu but everything is freshly cooked, the steak n ale pie is fab never had a disappointed visit yet. Fab views over the Humber, outside seating area for those with dogs, plenty of... More

As we were staying at the Spurn Point Observatory and this is the only place to eat within easy walking/cycling distance - we said to ourselves 'how bad can it be?' We had to queue quite a while to be served, the poor barmaid was run ragged and the landlady/owner we had heard so much about was at that point... More

My partner and I paid a visit on the 12th of august 2015, after visiting Spun Point. We both decided to have a meal, of scampi and chips, for my partner. I choose Cheeseburger and chips. The food was excellent. We sat outside the pub, and admired the view of the Humber estuary, and the floor show of the seals,... More

Lovely location, especially when the sun's shining. Nice menu, but doesn't change much. We've visited quite a few times, in the last couple of years and it's pretty much the same. Bar staff lovely. Best to book if you want a table in the small restaurant (room).

Enjoying a early evening pint (a very good one I may add) outside of the Crown and Anchor I witnessed what I can only describe as an unprovoked attack on two innocent ladies by the so called land lady. She stormed out shouted something about not eating own food then stormed back in. Now at no time did I see... More
