Visit here a few months ago food was good beer was a tad expensive but with no other pubs within walking distance we had option. The landlady was very disrespectful towards her staff shouting at them for a simple mistake in front of customers. We...More

Lovely fish and chips. Served prompt. Good range of food and drinks. Food done as requested. Would deffo go back. Staff friendly and polite. Location really nice good sea view. Very cozy with a fire and lots of seating.

A traditional pub that serves good meals and good beers. Friendly staff, cosy real fires. There was a good atmosphere in there the Saturday night we were in. We were made to feel welcome by staff and locals alike.

As a frequent visitor to the crown and anchor we have never been disappointed with either the food or the standard of service. Not the most adventurous menu but everything is freshly cooked, the steak n ale pie is fab never had a disappointed visit...More
