Lesley and Neil did everything they could to make our stay memorable, even giving our group of 4 a lift into Coniston to enable us to fully enjoy our dinner reservation at 'Steam' (also highly recommended).

Everything about it was excellent. Neil and Lesley were really lovely.
The guest house is spotless and comfortable.
Breakfast was excellent.
You would struggle to find faults.
Definitely book again
We walked through here and saw the dog with an ice cream cone. On pausing we encountered the nice gentleman who sold ice creams. So it was a foregone conclusion that we would have to try the ice cream out. The flavour was rather good.More

Hi thanks for getting in touch.
Its about 4 miles to walk . A good walk following a path which is off road and is very scenic. There is also a bus. We do offer a transfer service. our web site gives details.
