This isn't your 'typical' hotel. It's an estate made up of lodges and hotels. It's a little confusing driving in so park up at reception and they will give you a plan of the estate. Our room was gorgeous with a huge bathroom. We didn't use the spa as the weather was so good...there is also the Brimstone Spa which...

We held our wedding on 17th May at the Langdale Chase. It was a small wedding, but everything was perfect. The staff were a credit to the hotel in looking after us and taking away any stress. The staff remained in the background but appeared immediately when we needed them. The day ran smoothly, the grounds were a stunning backdrop...

Stay here for two nights with my wife. We had one of the standard rooms for a quick, end of week get away to recharge. The room was average sized but well appointed with quality bed, furnishings and toiletries. The layout of the resort is very relaxing and peaceful through woodland and gardens. The restaurant, bar and breakfast area is...

Spent 2 nights here. Staff were excellent all the way from arrival with a personal receptionist. Food very nice. Drinks particularly expensive. We had a "signature" room which was really nice and well kitted out to a high spec'. There's an excellent spa/pool which we didn't take advantage of but friends did. The were really please with it. A pub...

The rooms themselves were well proportioned and well kept. We had 2 dinners here as well as breakfasts. This hotel is currently in transit, I think new owners have taken...

Great location with a lovely terraced area food and drinks were very good but a little expensive but to be fair the area we dined at was immaculate and very comfortable so you do expect to pay a bit more for this

We stayed for one night in the Attic Room, which really is a gorgeous, quiet room. We stayed for one night before moving to Brimstone for 2 nights. The grounds really are lovely and we walked round the estate and round by the log cabins. The room really is a lovely size and the copper bath really was great, defo...

We stay here every year and always have a great time and this time was no exception. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and he received a card from the hotel. It was the first time we visited since the new restaurant Stove had been opened so we made reservations for dinner as we usually go to Wainwright's pub around...
