Just returned from our weekend break at Crow How. A thoroughly relaxing break. Fabulously big room we didn't want to leave it! Everything was immaculate and well deserving of the 4 star rating. Excellent breakfast didn't need to eat the rest of the day. It's a pity the weather wasn't kinder but I guess that's why it's full of lakes!!!

Our room was spotless, very roomy, comfortable with a ginormous bed! Breakfasts were fantastic, loads of choice and beautifully cooked. Friendly, welcoming staff. Highly recommended. Easy walk into Ambleside or no time in a taxi.

We had a wonderful 2 nights stay in a lovely country retreat. Just outside of Ambleside the accommodation and welcome we received from start to finish just added en extra warmth to this charming bed and breakfast.

Great location, feels very 'away from it all', while at the same time giving easy access to local amenities. House was peaceful and relaxing, owners friendly and obliging. Spotlessly clean, room was nicely decorated with an excellent bathroom. Lovely comfortable lounge with a real fire, and a good DVD library too. Highly recommended.
