We spent three nights here and it was lovely. The location was perfect, with a short walk to the local village (Ambleside). The room we stayed in was clean and well equipped. Such a lovely B&B we stayed in room 9. Spotlessly clean and a nice room on the whole. The choice for breakfast was also great on the first morning I have a cooked breakfast great quality and the second morning I had eggs Hemingway which included smoked salmon on a English muffin with two poached egg and hollandaise sauce really...

Lovely place, friendly staff, really pretty surroundings. Spotlessly clean, relaxing, big rooms, lots of options for breakfast (delicious and healthy food). Excellent hospitality just adds on top of all of that! It was an amazing relaxing break. Stayed here for a night, wish it was longer! Will definitely go back again!

Crow How is in a nicely renovated farmhouse tucked away at the end of a private lane amongst gardens, sheep, cows and working Border Collies. It is clean, comfortable, quiet, friendly and accommodating. Bathrooms are en suite, modern and luxurious. Warm and friendly atmosphere, excellent hospitality. ... lovely room ,lots of choice for breakfast , would definitely return and stay in the Crow How .... , would recommend for anyone to stay here if staying in Ambleside.

Spotlessly clean, good breakfasts and peaceful gardens. Crow How provided a relaxing and rejuvenating break. Highlight was the clarity of the Milky Way above the house, complete with shooting stars! We shall return...

Large spacious room, quiet house.Super views and gardens. It is a short walk out of Ambleside but within 10 minutes you are in the centre plus there is a bus stop nearby. The hosts were very helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast was delicious - |I would recommend the porridge.

great spot just outside ambleside. very clean large room with all mod cons, large bathroom as well with whirlpool bath and large walk in shower. Very helpful check in, information pack in the room also great source of info for the area, restaurants and for walks will stay again

Crow How ticked all our boxes...immaculately clean, super fluffy white towels, gorgeous toiletries, delicious breakfast with plenty of choice, fabulous views, relaxing garden, perfect location withing easy walking distance to Ambleside, lots of walks for the more serious walker from the front door, Drying room, DVD's to watch if you fancy an evening in.
