We love this place, a group of 3 families meeting for a get together. This is our second visit. Great farm setting, facilities are extensive and we love the Barn accommodation. We will be back in 2018, can't wait.

I stayed at Bank Ground Farm in August with a group of 7 university students, and it was absolutely ideal! We stayed in two self-catering cottages (Beckfoot and Wynmoor) for the week, and the facilities were perfect for our needs. The view was GORGEOUS, and the cottages were cozy and quaint with the working fireplaces, fully equipped kitchens, and delightful...

What a fabulous place. Stayed here for the weekend with 10 friends on a mountain biking weekend. The farm is perfectly located with breathtaking views across coniston and to the hills behind. If you are biking there are great facilities, including wash down areas and secure cages for bikes over night. Rooms are well decorated, clean and warm with comfy...

We stay here every time we travel north. It is a gem. Jonathan's warm and easygoing personality and commitment to quality pervade the whole place: nothing is a hassle, food is home cooked and delicious, rooms are cosy with lots of great views of wonderful Lake Coniston, public rooms are comfy with armchairs and sofas, and the little shop is...

We spent a night here in room five which had views of their pretty garden. Very comfortable room with nice antique furniture giving character to the room. The bed was very comfortable too. There are bowls of fruit in the corridors which was a nice touch. Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit salad, cereals and full English breakfast which was...

Really lovely location, nestled in the valley with stunning views down to the edge of Lake Coniston. Cosy, comfortable accommodation and good kennel facilities for dogs. Great option for hiring pddle boards and kayaks. Kept the kids amused for hours!

Quite perfect. Exactly as it should be - fantastic host, quality accommodation and mouth-watering food in copious quantities. Honesty bar. In fact, everything works on honesty and trust and is provided in generous quantities - from the bowls of fruit on the landing to the thick fluffy towels. Wonderful location. Channel your best 'Swallows and Amazons' activities into hiring a...

This is a gem of a place for those who need to unwind, relax, soak in the majesty of the Cumbrian countryside and enjoy peace and quiet. The farm is not far from nearby Coniston and also not too far from the Lake District's largest lake and town - Windermere - but it's remote enough not to be disturbed by...

We stayed here for 4 nights in the Wynmoor cottage with our 2 kids with grandparents in the Loft next door. The farm is in a beautiful location overlooking Coniston Water and the Old Man of Coniston - we could see the lake from our bed. It is hard to overstate how amazing this spot is. The lake is just...

A beautiful place to stay and lovely people. We did the B&B followed by the self catering - we didn't want to go home! Our dog stayed in the farm's kennels at night. The lake a two minute stroll to sit on the dock and watch the sun set over the fells. Can't better this. If you want to eat...
