Fantastic hotel in the centre of Grasmere. Parking at the hotel is limited however we managed to find space on the road nearby. The rooms are decorated to a high standard. Breakfast choice is good and the omelettes were amazing. The food in the pub or restaurant is really good and good value too. The only downfall we had was...

The hotel has been recently refurbished and the bar and restaurant are superb. Our room was very bright, spotlessly clean and well decorated. The Spa bath was a real bonus after a days walking around the lake. The food in the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced with very good service. Only slight downside is the limited parking as...

The Inn at Grasmere is currently undergoing a total renovation and at this time, most of the work has completed as far as I understand. There was certainly no evidence of ongoing work on a major scale, no noise or interruption. I stayed in the Helm Crag Suite which was absolutely beautiful. The room itself had been recently refurbished, was...

Just returned from a four night stay. Entered reception on day one to chaos! a new reception desk was being fitted so it was extremely noisy and messy and the lady who greeted us acted as though nothing was happening and we could barely hear what she was saying! Maybe worth emailing guests before they arrive that works are being...

From start to finish an amazing weekend! Staff are so friendly and attentive creating a lovely atmosphere. The hotel transformation is absolutely mind blowing - hard work and determination surely shines through! The food is fantastic and paired with the stunning decor in the restaurant made the perfect night! We will definitely make this a regular trip!

We've just spent two nights here with our friends. The hotel is still being refurbished but I don't think it will be too long until its finished. Its generally beautifully designed throughout and very quirky. There are wooden horses in a few unusual places but they are great fun and I loved them. Our rooms were nicely decorated also -...

Nicely decorated room, everything there that was needed. Friendly staff. Room needed a few minor repairs lightbulb out, drawer knob missing and bathroom was very narrow, though clean. We took our dog which was made very welcome and able to go anywhere except the restaurant. Breakfast was slow but plenty of choice. Would go back again

My husband and I visited The Inn at Grasmere, on Sunday and Monday night, before setting off to celebrate my husbands birthday I read the recent reviews about the hotel and was rather concerned about what to expect. Yes there was ongoing improvement work but we were greeted by a very polite and friendly young man who apologised for any...

We stopped that Inn at Grassmere for an evening meal as a large group on our first night. It was very good, very nice and generous food, we were all put in the conservatory, and even had our own bar tender in the end, would have been happy to eat here every night. This is a busy & popular pub/...
