What wonderful accomodations await you at the Banerigg Guest House! We had a delightful two day stay at Banerigg. Angela and Martin were fabulous hosts and made us the most wonderful English breakfasts!! We had very comfortable rooms and accommodations...we would highly recommend you visit the lake country and stay at Banerigg Guest house when you visit!

Overlooking Rydal Water this Guest House is quite a find. Front rooms overlook the reflective waters of Rydal. Easy 1hr walk from the door to Grasmere and home (unless you want a cuppa of course). A range of rooms - some with en suite some not. Some doubles, some 3's. The owners can't do enough to help and breakfasts are...

Thank you so much for taking the time to post your review. I am really glad that you enjoyed your stay.....and your breakfast!!! Please can I tactfully say for those reading your review we overlook Grasmere and not Rydal Water and I am guessing your walk that took an hour was around the lake to the village! I estimate to...

where do you start...... greeted at the door straight away and felt like home immediately. Angela and Martin are genuine friendly people who obviously love what they do. Immaculate and clean and we can't wait to visit again. The breakfast.... what can you say other than you don't want to eat for the rest of the day and we ordered...

Fantastic break in late Spring, Angela & Martin are so friendly and couldn't have done more to make us welcome. We will be back. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the en-suite bath & shower was perfect. We had a lake facing room with spectacular views of the lake and hills. The breakfast is wonderful with...

We went to Grasmere looking for relaxation, and in Banerigg found the perfect location -overlooking the Lake just outside the village. Martin and Angela were warm and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble for them to make our stay memorable. Scrupulously clean, comfortable beds, lashings of hot water and the best breakfast we have ever eaten. Just what the...

Having passed the guest house on two occasions we finally met Martin working away in the garden who gave us a nice warm welcome. He then introduced us to his wife Angela who was equally as welcoming. We were staying for a couple of nights as we were competing in the Fred Whitton Challenge bike ride, 112 miles, 12,000ft elevation....

We have had a fabulous family getaway weekend staying at Banerigg. The owners Angela and Martin are lovely and gave us great recommendations for walks in the area as a family. The guesthouse is a short walk from Grasmere village with a beautiful view of the Lake and very comfortable. Our 9 year old really enjoyed the games in the...

A delightful guesthouse, in which my wife and I were made to feel welcome and relaxed. The proprietors, Angela and Martin, were ever so helpful. In chatting, we explained that we were visiting our son who was working/camping locally. They actually suggested we brought him back to the B&B for a shower! How nice is that! They even gave us...

Stayed here on C2C. A bit off the trail but worth the extra walk. We had a fabulous big room with a bath. Lovely guest lounge with tea/coffee facilities. Excellent potato rosti for vegetarian breakfast. Friendly hosts.
