Great little place, 3rd floor room, massive bed , good breakfast- dinner was also nice although would probably eat elsewhere if we returned. Lovely Spa area too to unwind in after a walk-which we did. Can't wait to return.

I stayed with a friend on Wednesday 30th November, this being my friends first visit. My husband and l have been staying here since it opened. l find the location perfect for people who want to walk for a couple of hours, maybe doing 2 walks each day as we do with a leisurely break for lunch in between walks....

Stayed here for my boyfriends birthday on 25/26 November, we checked in on the Friday evening and the concierge was brilliant straight out to the car to help with bags and had them in our room even before we had checked in! The staff on the desk were really helpful too. We had dinner in the restaurant that night it...

There was a problem with our booking for which the bookings manager Moses apologised and rearranged our booking, giving us an upgraded room, a hand-written card, a bottle of prosecco on ice and a box of chocolates - such a lovely surprise. Every single interaction with hotel staff was fantastic and they were all so helpful. This made life extremely...

We used the thermal pool which was a treat. We eat that evening in another hotel which cost a lot of money and not...

The hotel has a spa for residents' use. It is very relaxing and luxurious - could do with a few more loungers though. Our room was very large with a lake view on two sides. The meals were of a very high standard.

Where to start with this? We were looking forward to staying here based on the reviews on this site, the location and the amount of money we paid which was really rather a lot. We left 2 days later with a feeling of disappointment. The room we were allocated was appalling : cold, tiny and claustrophobic. One of the condescending...

We visited for our wedding anniversary. We arrived approximately 1130hrs. It was a quick check in as our room was ready. We got located room 119, which wasn't ideal. Poor view being overlooked by another building. View of what looked like a bum area. In fact horrible room, very noisy as it was on the same level as the dining...
