Booked a Groupon because we wanted to be in Grasmere. Room was awful and the hotel was quite a hike into Grasmere. We asked to pay for an upgrade but they couldn't accommodate us. So we left and stayed somewhere much better. Moral of the...More

Hello Graham, We've never had any complaints about our rooms. In what way was it 'awful'? Could you drop us an email on stay@lakedistrictinns.co.uk with your feedback, so we can act on it please? We sell only double rooms on Groupon, so sadly we can't...More

Had a really enjoyable lunch. Atmosphere is cosy, service was good and fast. Fish and chips was excellent and my husband really enjoyed the cumberland sausage. Highly recommend if looking for good quality food in the local area. Toilets could do with a revamp.
