Lovely old building which is split into 3 businesses so parking issues occur. Be careful which room you book, 7 is tiny and overpriced at £100 per night. Everywhere is very clean and nicely decorated, beds are fantastic. Hosts are helpful and friendly but a little fussy ! Cannot fault breakfast, plentiful choice and not dripping in fat !!

Lovely guest house. Rooms spacious and spotless. Hosts were great and even packed us off with a slice of cake for our walks. Great choice for breakfast and was plentiful. We will definitely be back. Bed was comfy and the rooms were warm. Great views across the garden and the ducks visited in the morning.

This was our fourth time at this wonderful guest house. When we arrived, we were met with coffee and lovely cakes. The breakfast is really good with an excellent choice of good quality food. We stayed in room 3, which is our favourite room, although all the rooms are of excellent quality, comfy bed and spotlessly clean. Our hosts, Christine...

My wife and I stayed here for the first time ealier this month and we would strongly recommend anyone looking for a very friendly b&b to stay there. Our room (3) was furnished to high standard and the bathroom gave us some ideas for our new bathroom at home. Bed was VERY comfortable, breakfast menu is quite extensive and certainly...

Stayed 1 night on my C2C walk, and suspect this will be the most comfortable stay on my trip. Hosts Christine and Ian were very personable and helpful, room really tastefully decorated, spotless and warm. Breakfast was great as well. I would be surprised if there's better accommodation in Grasmere.

This is a wonderful B&B to stay at. It's location is ideal for exploring Grasmere on foot and further afield by car. The car park is a bonus for such a central location and fit our estate car comfortably. The owners Christine and Ian are lovely people - probably the most welcoming hosts I've ever met. Christine answered all our...

Having stayed at a number of different places in Grasmere in the past, and reading good reviews on Tripadvisor, we managed to book a 3-night stay at Beck Allans. It was every bit as good as your reviewers said, and Christine and Ian were so welcoming and helpful. Breakfasts plentiful and tasty, bedroom clean, and comfortable, we'll be back! spacious

Stayed four days as a solo guest on a hiking trip. Christine & Ian made me feel right at home. The room was clean & comfortable & quiet with a window overlooking the river & a nice big bathtub. I had the continental breakfast every day; loads of fresh fruit, breads, cheeses, jams and French press coffee. Yum. An excellent...

I stayed here for three nights with my mum and sister-in-law. Christine and Ian gave us a friendly welcome. The rooms were pristine and the breakfast lovely. We were even given a slice of homemade cake to take with us as we left. The location in Grasmere is brilliant because the are so many walks from the door that you...

Beck Allans is a lovely B&B in the beautiful village of Grasmere. We stayed here for our honeymoon last month and really enjoyed our visit. Christine and Ian were great hosts, giving lots of suggestions for places to eat and things to do and they cooked a delicious breakfast for us every morning. Our room was exceptionally clean and the...
