Came for a meal whilst on holiday in the lakes. Food was delicious, we had a burger a pizza and the tagine, all were without fault. We also had desserts which were equally as tasty, service was very friendly and attentive cant make any complaints....More

We ran into the queens head to shelter from torrential rain, and we are very glad we did. We had a delicious lunch and the atmosphere was so cosy and welcoming. We are looking into booking a room for our next visit to the lakes.More

Slate reply. I agree with other peoples answers in that you use the village car park. The area appears to be as safe as any public car park

Hi -During our stay well behaved dogs were allowed, I believe the only no-go area is the morning / breakfast room. I also think if you are staying at the hotel there are "dog friendly" rooms and annexe listed on the tariff.
