Overall ok paid 278 for two rooms for 1 night and they expected a supplement for breakfast which we were not prepared to pay anymore than what we already had only booked as last minute decision and could not find availability anywhere else

Excellent accommodation, as you expect from Premier Inn. Very well placed in the town and easy walking to the shops and facilities (and a great bistro on the corner). Restaurant was downstairs so no having to walk across wet car parks. Car parking is very limited and £5.00 for 24 hour stay but worth it for the location.

We stayed over during the Easter weekend and it was excellent. We were a party if two adults and two young children and the family room was more than adequate. The room was tidy and modern and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast served in the morning was also great. Parking is limited but it was not an issue. The staff...

We stayed 2 night from 23/3/16 for 2 nights. We were in the annexe which was nice and quiet As you would expect the room was warm and spotlessly clean.Just 2 little problems the Tv only had about a dozen channels, which is a little poor for a large hotel. Also there was no 2 pin shaver socket in the bathroom.Apart from...

This is a clean, comfortable hotel in a quiet side street of Kendal. Like most Premier Inns, it's not an interesting or characterful place to stay, but it is pleasant enough. The staff are friendly and helpful. The car park is pay and display and is quite small. Breakfast was good, with lots of variety.

Stayed here for one night mid March. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Room and bathroom clean and comfortable. Was initially a little worried that the window would not open as I like fresh air but the air conditioning proved to be very effective in cooling the room down. We were on the first floor of the 'Annexe' - 32...

We booked two rooms as convenient place to stop on our way to a wedding in Glasgow. It is off the main road, and very convenient for Kendal's main street. We wandered out for both dinner and breakfast the next day. Very happy with our choice. Just what you expect from a Premier Inn and great value too.

Good features: bath, helpful service, lift, breakfast until 1030/1100 weekdays/ends. Bad features: cold rooms, heating does not seem to work (though staff provide extra heaters on request), no table in room, parking limited so you may not get in, parking costs (temporarily free owing to broken machine), poor service at breakfast, hot food left out, fruit salad not replenished and...
