We have just stopped in the static caravan on the farm and we had an amazing few days. It was so peaceful as they only have the one static caravan next to a couple of permanent tourer caravans and there was only us there when we stopped. All caravans are well spaced out and next to a field containing chickens, cows and sheep, all of which were very friendly!
The views from the caravans were amazing with hills and farm animals out of every window!
The caravan itself was very cosy and spotless. It was also stocked with all essentials from washing up liquid to bed linen and towels.
Overall we were very sad to leave it and are definitely going to be booking again next year.

Lovely old home from the 1600s with a few cozy and comfortable rooms opened to travellers. The lady of the house who runs the place is warm and friendly, and very helpful. Went out of her way to help us with transportation etc. This is part of a working dairy farm. This is a little out in the countryside, so if you don't have your own transport, the walking may be difficult for older people. But, if you enjoy countryside hiking, it is a lovely place to go (about 4 miles away from Kendal, the nearest town).

When I visited I was amazed at the underfloor heating and it really warmed my feet up. The pod had everything we needed, it even had hot chocolate which I really enjoyed every night. I really liked that our bed was nice and big.
