We only stayed a night at Spooney Green because it's a 15-20 minute walk from the centre of Keswick - but with a car this wouldn't be a problem. It's such a lovely B&B I would definitely go back. We enjoyed a wonderful panoramic view from our bedroom; huge bathroom, and delicious breakfast (own-made spelt bread and yogurt, honey and...

We had a lovely stay at this B&B. Everything was top notch. From the lovely cozy room to the fine china and silverware. The picturesque view of their garden and the fells (that's what they call hills) are available in every room. The bird feeder attracted multicolored birds and the red squirrels. I had a yummy hot breakfast every morning...

“They are probably all good. There are not that many. It's a B&B, after all.”

“One room does not have a toilet and shower attached but it is just a few feet down the hall and is private to that room. If that bothers you, I would just make sure to ask for one of the others. The room furthest from the road probably has the best view but they all have nice views. Take a torch or flashlight if you walk back from town after dark.”
