My husband and I came here for dinner on the last night of a recent trip to Keswick. We have been coming to Keswick for years it had never been to Mary Mount before. Well, I can say with certainty that we will be back. The food was very good, on a par with many other places we eat in...

We popped in here for lunch after walking the dog along the lakeside. We could have taken the dog inside to the bar area but it was a lovely sunny day so we sat outside on the terrace - what a view over the lake and to Catbells on the other side! We just had sandwiches (marinated pork and chicken...

Dogs are allowed in the bar. We had done a really stunning walk and stopped here for a later lunch. The food we had was really good , my husband had steak and ale pie which he said was one of the best he had ever had. My son had hunters chicken, a huge portion of two pieces of chicken,...

As a regular this place gets better. Always attentive staff. I had to cancel a reservation a couple of months ago and was worried about this and letting the team down. No worries and very understanding. New breakfast serving times nice till 9.30 am. Lie in! Probably need to look at a pinot blush and more Gin options? Cracking service...

Just back from trip with family (kids 5+7 years). It's only 2 star, but clean and comfortable, very pleased with the family room which is spacious and L-shaped so you're not all lying in a row of beds, rather double/two-singles on either arm of the "L". Staff all friendly and helpful, nice relaxed atmosphere, and great location for walking but...

This is a great place, no way is this hotel only 2 star. Rooms are really nice, views are stunning, food was excellent and just to make it even better they had 2 craft beers on draught 😀 I've not mentioned the staff who are all very friendly and efficient. Thanks for a great stay.

We spent a weekend here, staying in a room in the fairly new annexe. Good room, generous size. A bit more storage/shelf space in the bathroom would have made it even better. Sound insulation not good, given what I heard from the couple in the room above! We ate in the restaurant both evenings and had very good meals. Breakfast...

We have just returned from a three night stay on our fourth visit over the past couple of years. The staff are so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them so a big thank you. We stayed in the annexe in a ground floor room perfect for those with mobility problems and it was spotlessly clean...

Just had a short break here, website states a 2 star, well ignore that, it's certainly a three at the very least, staff are great, room was fantastic, food was brilliant, the views are amazing and we will stay there why. You pay 2 star money for a three, borderline 4 star. The only criticism I could give is the...

We called in after a long days walk and had a good appetite. Not disappointed with the fresh prepared food and the dog friendliness. Can recommend the fish pie and boeuf bourgignon - reasonable prices.
