We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were made to feel very welcome. The bedroom was lovely; very spacious and clean. The facilities were exactly as described on their website. The morning breakfast was excellent and served in a cosy room with a log burner, setting the scene for a winter's day in the Lakes.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and it is just as good as before. Sharon is the perfect host, the breakfasts are amazing and the rooms are spotless. We always stay in room 2 which has a settee rather than just a bed. We love the extra touches such as teddy being in a different spot each...

This was our 5th stay and it was every bit as enjoyable as all the others. We stayed in Room 1 which is small but very comfortable and stylishly decorated and, as with everywhere else at Burnside, immaculately clean. The breakfast, as ever, was very tasty, both of us having cooked breakfast to set us up for the climb up...

Our first visit to Keswick and we found this little gem on the internet. What a brilliant place to stay....spotlessly clean, wonderful breakfasts, attention to detail (even a wine cooler was provided without asking) and within an easy stroll of the town centre. Sharon and Peter were first class hosts and will surprise you by going that little bit extra...

Once again we have to compliment Sharon for her 1st class service on our second stay at this really great b and b in the heart of Keswick. Again the room was very very comfortable and very clean. The breakfast again was superb with plenty of choice and the atmosphere was excellent. We enjoyed it so much we have booked...

This is a large victorian house converted into a small B&B. Rooms spotlessly clean and lots of attention to detail. Everything was exactly as it should be, nice breakfast with lots of choice. A vegetarian breakfast was served as if it were the norm, rather than some places we have visited in the past. The B&B itself is about 15mins...

I'd just like to say a massive thank you to Sharon and Peter for an unforgettable stay in The Lakes.... Being a single traveller I was made to feel extremely welcome, so much so that when talking to other people I kept referring to it as 'home'. They couldn't do enough to answer any questions I had and provided me...

This was our sixth stay at Burnside and we are already booked in for a seventh. On this trip my partner and I really wanted to recharge the batteries after a couple of hectic months. Burnside makes this possible and more. A spotless establishment, warm, welcoming and very comfy rooms. Its getting a little cold this time of year but...
