Amanda & Ross are very friendly, offer excellent clean rooms with a kettle, tea and coffee plus on returning each day we had a cake. A very good breakfast, with cereals and a menu for the cooked items filled in the previous night. Situated near to the town within easy walking distance.

My husband and I booked the Dolly Wagon guest house for a night (25.10.16.) We were given a warm welcome on arrival. It was great we could check in at midday as we were only staying in the area for 24 hours; so the early check in enabled us to unpack and then make the most of the glorious weather...

Working away from home is made a lot easier when you can stay in places like this. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Clean comfortable room (with added bonus of a homemade cake!) Lovely breakfast served with a smile. Would recommend for business or pleasure. I would find it difficult to find anything negative to say about my stay here. Thank...

I had room 6 which has a very strange shower room. It is only about 3 feet wide and a step has to be provided to get up to the toilet and shower. At first I found it funny and quirky but after a couple of days annoying. The room was basic but had everything I needed. However everything else...

Thank you for your kind comments, we would love to see you back here at Dolly Waggon and I am really pleased you enjoyed the breakfast choices. I totally agree that the shower room is slightly awkwardly laid out and on the smaller cosy size (fine if you are on your own) which is why we let the room as...

Dolly Wagon is nicely situated for excursions into the Lake district. The house is equipped with maps, guide books, and good advice. The owners feed their guests with excellent cooked breakfasts and supply packed lunches that propelled us up Helvellyn despite the weather. Lovely home-made cakes in every room as a special treat. The location is also great for a...

We visited this delightful Guest House in Keswick mid-July. It was our second stay here and it will certainly not be our last. Situated in a reasonably quiet residential area of Keswick, just a few minutes walk from the town Market Place, this traditional, end terrace house had all the comforts of home, but much, much more. The welcome we...

Stayed at the Dolly Wagon for one night while visiting Keswick for a trip to the theatre. Couldn't have found anywhere better. Lovely warm welcome from the very friendly owners. Beautiful spacious room with delightfully comfortable beds. Tea and coffee facilities plus a delicious home-made cake to go with our drinks. Breakfast was just amazing - a beautifully cooked meal...

The rooms are clean and pleasant, beds are comfortable.it is off the main streets in Keswick so there's not a lot of noise at night. The breakfast is good and plentiful. The only downside is as always parking, but that it the case with most B...

So glad I chose Dolly Wagon for my one night stay in Keswick, such a lovely and convenient guest house in the heart of Keswick. I had room 4 which has a fabulous view, super comfy bed and larger than average shower. Possibly the best nights sleep I've had in a B&B or hotel for a long time! Breakfast was...
