Where to begin? Lovely Lindsey the Manager; wonderful waiting staff; stunning setting; perfect position; relaxing room; bountiful breakfast. Room 4 overlooking the park and towards Catbells was very comfortable and well-appointed. Also, so central for exploring Keswick - 5 minutes walk from our favourite restaurant, 10 minutes from Theatre by the Lake and 10 minutes walk into town centre. Thank...

A lovely few days in this immaculate bed and breakfast hotel. It is so conveniently located in a beautiful quiet spot, close to both the Lake and the town centre. The service is outstanding - the staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, tastefully furnished in a contemporary style and well...

Stayed here Friday to Sunday, made to feel so welcome, got there earlier than check in time but was told the room had already been cleaned so we could put our bag in straight away. Sorted us out with a parking permit so we could get parked and go exploring. We dropped on for the weather all weekend and the...

Just got round to writing this but would like to say many months later what a great place this is. I ran the local parkrun on the Saturday and so was due to miss breakfast but they did something especially for me on return. The staff are friendly and natural. Not a fussy place in the way many British B&Bs...

We love this great little hotel, we visited for the first time in 2010 and each time we stay in Keswick we always book the lakeside house hotel. Lindsay and staff are fab and make you feel like you are at home. Also, it's in a great location for access to the lake and into town. The rooms are furnished...

What a wonderful place to stay.the room was first rate clean well furnished with wonderful views. The breakfasts were fantastic with nothing too much trouble for the staff. Will be going again in the near future. So glad it's not dog friendly as the last place we stayed at has become. Thanks for a pleasant stay

I don't like staying in hotels ! However I have changed my mind, Lindsey and the staff at the hotel are the most welcoming and accommodating people I have met. No wonder they get return visits ( I don't want to leave) Eggs Benedictine is truly lovely and everything else about the breakfast won't leave you hungry. Before you complain(...

This is the second time we have visited, first visit was for our honeymoon last year and this time for my stepdaughter's wedding nearby. We had a lovely time, booked room 12 (suite) which was great as there were 3 of us, the room is very nice, roomy, the bathroom was lovely and big, food (breakfast) really good and service...

We recently spent 2 nights at lakeside house. We stayed in room 3 which was large, light and airy with a contemporary feel, it also had a bay window overlooking the park opposite. The accommodation is centrally located, just a short, level stroll to the town and lake. There was a good, tasty selection at breakfast in the dining room...

We stayed here to celebrate a couple of nights of our honeymoon. We stayed in room 16 which has superb views! It is in a perfect location; very close to the lake which was great for evening strolls and within a short walk of the lovely pubs and restaurants in Keswick! Breakfast was yummy and staff all very friendly and...
