Wanted somewhere for one night en-route to Cornwall that also served an evening meal. After doing some internet research came across this excellent find in an online newspaper review. Our booking was fairly last minute and we were pleased to find that they were serving meals on this particular evening which meant we could relax, have a drink and not...

Littletown Farm is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay and wish it had been longer than 1 night. You are surrounded by stunning scenery, and the hosts are pleasant. The breakfast was delicious. We ordered omelets but you can also have a traditional English breakfast. Our room was cozy. It was tastefully decorated and you have an incredible view right outside...

This hotel was one of our favorites from our driving trip through the UK. The scenery is breathtaking, and the host family was wonderful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, they offer full English breakfasts, omelets, fresh coffee and juices, and more. Our room looked like it had been completely re-done recently. The bathroom looked brand-new, like no one had every...

This guesthouse is just about 15 minutes out of Kewsick. We found everything to be delightful. From the decor in the rooms with nice big bath towels and comfy bed to the service and full breakfast with several choices including an enormous delicious omelette. The views are spectacular. The owners were very nice. Make sure you plan to arrive in...

This is the second time we have stayed at Littletown Farm guest house, and probably not the last. The location is terrific, you can start the Newlands Horseshoe pretty much from the front door, and you are not too far from many other great places to walk. The breakfast is really good. They are able to cater for coeliacs. Let...

We have stayed at Littletown Farm every time we have visited the Lakes over the last 25 years. The breakfast is incredible and I always eat more than I should, justifying it with the thought of the long walk I am about to embark on right on the Farm's doorstop, with so many fells to choose from it really is...

We visited the tearoom for the second time after finding this spot after climbing Cat Bells and it didn't disappoint. The rolls and sandwiches were delicious and clearly prepared with great produce. This was complimented by an array of lovely homemade cakes. Tasteful decor and stunning views of the surrounding countryside topped the whole experience off!

We stayed for 2 nights over the August bank holiday weekend. Really comfortable, beautifully decorated, clean room. We had dinner on our first night and it was delicious, particularly the sticky toffee pudding. Breakfast was also first class and our hosts were welcoming. There are many walks from the house so no need to drive. All in all the perfect...
