Enjoyed a 5 night stay over Easter. Our first visit to the Lakes and we were not disappointed with either Keswick or Howe Keld. Whilst we had booked based on a personal recommendation and after seeing previous reviews we were still not expecting such a great place to stay. Howe Keld has clearly undergone a complete refurbishment, is freshly decorated...

One of the best B&Bs we've stayed at. Jerome and Laura are the most gracious hosts and nothing is too much trouble. They are full of helpful information on walks/ restaurants/ things to do on a rainy day/ you name it. The rooms are beautifully appointed with great attention to detail and even the smallest needs catered to. The breakfast...

I was travelling with my friend. We checked into the b&b greeted by Jerome the owner. He made us feel very welcome. Offered to carry our bags and a glass of wine for us. The room was amazing beautifully decorated throughout. Nothing was a bother to them. The breakfast was unbelievable we had eggs benedict with bacon. My friend didn't...

This is the second time I have stayed here with my mum while we have a couple of nights away and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Keswick. The rooms are beautifully kitted out and spotlessly clean. Laura and Jerome are both great hosts and the breakfasts fab. Its a great location to visit the town or go walking, can't wait...

Highly recommend the Howe Keld, Jerome from Switzerland and his English wife Laura were the perfect hosts. He's always laughing haha. Perfect breakfasts lovely even the presentation. So spacious the rooms, brand new, clean and modern and in a great location for the center of Keswick. Couldn't fault it. Would definitely go back.

Six of us stayed for 2 nights in three lovely rooms. The junior suite has views toward Catbells and over the town from the bathroom. Laura and Jerome were great hosts, very welcoming and really helpful with restaurant advice, and possible outdoor activities. Howe Keld is in a very good location, a short walk into town or the lake and...

We arrived after a long drive up from Leeds and were warmly greeted by our host and shown to our rooms and brought fresh milk so we could have a cup of tea in bed. These touches already made me very happy! The rooms were wonderful, with big comfy beds, large baths for soaking tired bodies and best of all...

We were here in early January as a couple for two nights. Howe Keld was a brilliantly located B&B - easy access to town, parking available and 2 minutes walk to the lakeside. The decor was modern and classic with a cosy alpine feel. The bathroom was spacious, clean, current and the bath itself deserves a special note - perfect...

I have to say from arriving at the property and meeting the owner to leaving , it was 1 of the B&B's I've ever stayed in. not only was it clean well decorated with quality fitting and furniture but it's owned by a lovely welcoming couple who made us both feel at home in their business and their home! Breakfast...
