Spent three nights at Howe Keld and it was excellent. Brilliant location close to town and walks, lovely owners who were chatty, friendly and very happy to help. Room was modern, clean and comfortable (and warm - it was freezing when we visited!). Lovely breakfast with lots of choice. Would definitely stay again!

Spent a 2 night stay . Rooms superbly furnished with every attention to detail, first class modern decor and fittings even fresh milk supplied in the room fridge. Breakfast was a real experience, cooked and prepared by Jerome, who was very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Lovely welcoming lounge area with local crafts and decor, toy area and even... The owners, Jerome and Laura are delightful. Nothing is too much trouble. The breakfasts are to die for. The cooked Cumbrian option will carry you up a day on the Fells or around the markets of Keswick. Our rooms were clean, airy and well appointed. The views on the 'Lake/park' side would keep a photographer occupied for a week. Jerome... More

Great people, very friendly, fantastic food, lovely rooms, don't stay anywhere else. The best breakfast I've ever had. Hotel run by genuinely nice people for whom making the guest feel at home really is their top priority.

Was fantastic from start to finish. The building was lovely, as was the lounge and dining room. Breakfast was superb. Everything and more that was wanted. The room I had , had a fabby view and attention to detail was obvious. There was nothing missing. The hosts were great.

Lovely friendly greeting from Laura. Room was very clean and very well decorated with lots of space. So much evidence of the attention to detail, whether it's the room, the warm greeting or the general hospitality. And the breakfast..so tasty, probably the best I've had. Cannot praise the Howe Keld enough and a great base for local walking and the... More
