Spent one night here whilst traveling up to Scotland. I was met on arrival by the manager who was a lovely and very friendly man. He checked me in, told my partner where to find free parking and carried my bags to the room for...More
We were after a well cooked traditional Sunday lunch and were not disappointed. Our roast beef was tender, not over cooked but had a pink hue in the centre- the vegetables were nice and crisp. All in all a great meal. Only slight quibble was...More
A lovely venue well appointed but, unfortunately, spoilt by the welcome received by the maitre d' of the day. He was cold and unhelpful towards a young family. The food was good once it arrived. We noticed one or two family groups leave after initial...More
Free upgrade to room 2 which is a suite! It has a living area and 2 TVs. Decor was very cool for the Lakes and for the money we paid £100 per night we were shocked at the size of room and finish.

Hi Stacy. Being located in the centre of the town means we don't have our own parking facilities. However there are car parks within minutes of our inn with free overnight parking. If you enter Keswick via the A66 (from Penrith) or the A591 (from Kendal). Follow Penrith Road towards the town up a small hill towards a crossroads. Continue over a pedestrian crossing and take the second turning on the right. You will see Otley Road car park on your right. You can park for free from 7pm to 8:30am (overnight) and a 24hour pass costs £5. It’s just a 3 minute walk to The Royal Oak at Keswick from here.
