I stayed here with a small group over the weekend.
The staff were very accommodating and couldn't have been friendlier and helpful. There was a convention on in Keswick we didnt know about and they helped us get food sorted with minimal fuss.
For a small but busy and often crowded Lakeland town, The Royal Oak stands out as one of the best places to stay and to eat. The room was spacious and comfortable though not particularly quiet as it looks out over the pedestrian area near...More

Hi Stacy. Being located in the centre of the town means we don't have our own parking facilities. However there are car parks within minutes of our inn with free overnight parking. If you enter Keswick via the A66 (from Penrith) or the A591 (from Kendal). Follow Penrith Road towards the town up a small hill towards a crossroads. Continue over a pedestrian crossing and take the second turning on the right. You will see Otley Road car park on your right. You can park for free from 7pm to 8:30am (overnight) and a 24hour pass costs £5. It’s just a 3 minute walk to The Royal Oak at Keswick from here.
