This was our first time at this B&B and we will certainly return. Spotless and very homely. We were celebrating our Silver Wedding and so glad we chose to stay there. We loved the little touches of the home made biscuits and cake. Bed and Carol were very friendly and nothing was any trouble. I just hope when we decide...

Honister House, the best little guest house in town. A wonderful weekend at the Keswick beer festival, made even more awesome by staying with Ged and Carol at Honister House B&B. A six pack of beautiful ladies in our party were superbly catered for. Really spacious en suite bedrooms with lots of goodies in the bathroom and fat fluffy white...

Honister House is a lovely small, friendly, spotlessly clean Guest House in the heart of Keswick. Ged & Carol made my friends and I feel so very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. It felt like staying in a friends house not a B&B. I stayed in the twin bedded room which has the most comfortable bed I have ever...

This has got to be one of if not the best BandB's we've ever stayed in. Absolutely everything from the lovely welcoming by Ged to the home made cookies (and cakes) by Carol just sum this place up. As their friendly approach and gorgeous little bits of attention to detail are just everywhere. Home made tatties at breakfast, advice on...

Just back from my third trip to Honister House, this time as part of a group of 6 who took the whole house for the Keswick Beer Festival. Ged and Carol could not have been more hospitable and impressed upon us that we were to feel at home. Cooked breakfasts were tasty and impeccably presented, with generous portions and plenty...

My wife and I have stayed at Honister House on several occasions and each time we return it's better than before! Ged and Carol are wonderful hosts, they GENUINELY care about the quality of your stay with them, unlike so many other hosts where they are obviously just "going through the motions" in that fake "put on a smile and...

My husband and I were really looking forward to staying at Honister House again for 5 whole nights!!!! And after hearing there had been a few changes, we couldn't wait to see what Carol and Ged had been up to..... When we arrived, we were greeted with friendlyness and massive smiles. We were shown to our room (British Sea Power),...

My husband and I have stayed in many B&Bs in Europe, the US, and Canada. My B&B criteria are location and parking, relaxing atmosphere, spacious bedroom and bathroom, friendly and knowledgeable hosts, room amenities (incl. washcloths and a good hair dryer), breakfast quality and variety, internet connectivity, and extras that show the hosts really care. Honister House is 5 of...

There's very little I can say that hasn't already been said by other reviewers to be honest. Two of us stayed for a couple of nights over the bank holiday weekend. The location was perfect, the car parking was really close-by and the B&B is located metres away from the shops and bars. The owners are friendly, funny and informative...

We just departed from the Lake District after an unbeatable B&B experience at the lovely Honister House (HH). The B&B itself is in an ideal location: midway between the Keswick bus stop outside Booths market and the lake (each a ~5 min walk) and steps away from the TI and shops in the town center. The room itself was impeccably...
