I spent 3 great nights here in Sep '15. By myself. A short break away from it all for some fresh air and scenic beauty. The location of Craglands is spot on. 10 mins walk to Keswick town centre which is right on the edge of Derwentwater. The town has pretty much everything needed and great character. The host couple...

Stayed for two nights for a short break. Very clean and comfortable room. Although we were unable to secure en suite facilities the bathroom was right next to our room so no problems in sharing with another guest who we never saw. Breakfast was too large even for our appetites and we had to ask for half portions the second...

I travelled solo on public transport. Easily reached from Penrith station and has a decent bus service from other areas. The guesthouse is well situated on a pleasant 15 minute walk into town, although a bus stop is 200 yards away if needed. Theres a beautiful river and woodland walk directly behind Craglands- perfect for pre-breakfast/evening walks, without having to...

Clean guest house just outside of Keswick. Lovely very helpful owners. Breakfast is brilliant and they are very accommodating . Both owners are very knowledgeable of the area...make sure you speak to them before heading out for the day. This is great budget accommodation. Would Highley recommend. Thanks

I stayed at the craglands guesthouse for two nights for a wedding. I had a single room without en suite. My room was absolutely delightful, comfortable, well presented and well equipped with a television and tea making facilities. On my arrival Pauline and Mark were very welcoming; they were both genuinely interested in my trip and made sure I was...

This B&B is located close to the heart of Keswick and has off-street parking which is a bonus. The host will even park your vehicle for you! The rooms are well maintained and clean but you may need to manage a number of stairs if on the upper floors. Our hosts, Pauline and Mark, were a delight and willingly shared...

I stayed here for 1 night on a hillwalking trip. I had wanted to stay at the hostel but it was full. But wanting somewhere cheap made this seem expensive for a single person, especially as I did not have en-suite facilities. Having said that, the room was clean and the owners were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good.

We stayed at the Cragland's guesthouse Mid April this year for a long weekend. The guesthouse provides good value for money with well decorated, clean rooms. We were on the top floor at the back of the house and barely heard any noise from either the other rooms or outside. The guesthouse is on a main road, if you walk...

Good rooms, excellent breakfast and great company. Cannot fault it in any way and we would definitely stay here again. Not far from the town and located in an excellent area. We really enjoyed our stay.
