All the staff were wonderful, but the accommodation's is getting tired. Doors didn't close, shower trims needed replacing, paint peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom and uncomfortable beds all for in excess of £2000 for a week. Yes the shower, until sorted, was an...More
We have been before so we knew to take as much food etc as we could carry. It's a lovely place but very very expensive in the bars and restaurants. All extras are to pay for and they mount up I can tell you! If...More
My husband and I had a midweek break at Whinfell Forest. A very lovely location. We stayed in the Lakeside Apartments. I wouldn't describe the kitchen as 'fully equipped' - it was a bit basic. However, we ate out apart from lunch, so didn't really...More
We had a wonderful holiday here for 7 nights at the end on June. We stayed in a 3 bedroom executive lodge, 25 Seven Pines, it was beautiful, everything in perfect working order and spotlessly clean. We're a family of 5 with a 6, 4...More

We always go for the winter wonderland which is brilliant for the children , however all the activities is extra charge . Santa is wonderful and that is 14£ per child but it's worth that they get to go in santas grotto and they get a photograph and a present. There is loads of xmas activities to do it it best to prebook them all before you go as you may struggle to get a place once you there. There is a snow machine as you enter the village which is lovely gives you a xmassy feel ! There is raindeers aswell down at the grotto which the kids love , it's defiantly worth going to we find it the best part of the year .
