Called in for a drink with our three dogs. We sat in the bar as dogs are not allowed in the dining room which is fine with us. The food smelled absolutely delicious so we asked if there was any chance of us getting a meal too. We were very pleased to be told we could as the meal was...

Booked to dine at the Troutbeck Inn new years eve and was left a little disappointed the food overpriced and lacked in seasoning which was a bit of a shame really as overall the food would have been wonderful. The pub itself was beautiful but lacked any kind of atmosphere that you would expect on New Years Eve. We went...

Spent 4 nights over New Year here, lovely inn, very welcoming, fantastic area, Ullswater is beautiful and the food at this inn is fabulous, only wish we had something similar and at the same price down here in Hampshire! Will be back.

We have consistently, over several years - and this time was no exception - enjoyed good service and attention; decent beers and...

We stayed 3nights in the two bedroom cottage. There was plenty of linen etc lovely hot powerful shower and bath. Beds were comfortable and the heating kept the cottage very warm despite the weather outside which was particularly cold. In fact It's a true ly home from home. The food in the hotel is really good and the staff are...

Booked room on line, when we arrived we were greeted by a friendly staff member who booked us in. This is a lovely building with some lovely views. The food was great and the full English breakfast was enough to last me all day even after a long walk. The staff are all very friendly and make you feel welcome....

Food is delicious and I felt reasonably priced, desserts £6.25 which may be is a little pricey but again delicious. We stayed with our dog which is a bonus for us. We ate in the bar...

Spur of the moment meal out. Welcoming staff. Lovely warm restaurant. The food in our opinion was just about one of the most delicious meals out we have ever had! The quality was superb. Had a starter and a main...couldn't manage a sweet. We both had the same main...Beef Bourguignon. It was beautiful. Fine dining without doubt! The whole meal,...
