We usually come here when we stay nearby - once or twice a year - for a couple of evenings each time. There is a touch of class about the place that may go over some peoples heads. We have consistently, over several years - and this time was no exception - enjoyed good service and attention; decent beers and... More

We stayed 3nights in the two bedroom cottage. There was plenty of linen etc lovely hot powerful shower and bath. Beds were comfortable and the heating kept the cottage very warm despite the weather outside which was particularly cold. In fact It's a true ly home from home. The food in the hotel is really good and the staff are... More

Booked room on line, when we arrived we were greeted by a friendly staff member who booked us in. This is a lovely building with some lovely views. The food was great and the full English breakfast was enough to last me all day even after a long walk. The staff are all very friendly and make you feel welcome.... More

Have just spent 3 nights here and it was lovely. Such a lovely Inn with great decor and clean. All staff friendly and helpful. Food is delicious and I felt reasonably priced, desserts £6.25 which may be is a little pricey but again delicious. We stayed with our dog which is a bonus for us. We ate in the bar... More

Spur of the moment meal out. Welcoming staff. Lovely warm restaurant. The food in our opinion was just about one of the most delicious meals out we have ever had! The quality was superb. Had a starter and a main...couldn't manage a sweet. We both had the same main...Beef Bourguignon. It was beautiful. Fine dining without doubt! The whole meal,... More

My wife and I spent 2 nights here on a last minute booking. The inn is absolutely delightful in a lovely location with plenty of parking. Our upgraded room was lovely and clean and of a good size with amazing views. Bar service and quality and choice of drinks were excellent and of a reasonable price. We ate in on... More

Stayed here the first weekend in September and I was impressed with the location when we arrived as it is just off the main road but with lovely views. A little strange when we arrived as there was no one around but when I walked into the Inn a guy came out to check us in. I had requested a... More

The inn was recommended to us so finishing early that evening we decided to call in and see. A table was found for us stright away, very pleasant atmosphere with wonderful lights, and lovely decore. The food was out of this world, fantastic flavours I just wanted more, so I had a pudding and was not disappointed. I highly recommend... More
