We stayed in one of the camping pods for 2 nights in mid May. The site was very quite only a handful of others. The pods are excellent, with plenty of room. Shower and toilet block were clean as well as the communal sitting area. The only negative I have is you can't park your car next to the pod,...

Just got home from four beautiful days at Gill Head Farm. The site is easy to find from the motorway and well signposted; even for novice towers like us! As you drive up it is clear where to go depending if you're in a tent or van and there is space to park close to reception. I paid with a...

Fantastic experience! There's an area to pitch tents by the River Troutbeck, with a view of a waterfall and plunge pools, that you can request. It's off the beaten track, away from the main campsite area, so the toilets are a short walk away but the privacy is worth it. There's also a great playground and trampoline for the kids...

We spent Two nights here in our little camper, the field with the hard standing pitches has a lovely playground in the middle so you can sit back and enjoy a brew while the kids play, communal areas very useful, picnic benches outside and undercover to sit and eat at. Yes you do have to keep pressing the button in...

The idea of camping pods is right up my street. I don’t like setting up tents all that much. I don’t like mallets and bent tent pegs all that much. I don’t like undoing loud tent zips in the middle of the night all that much. I do like arriving and having a ready made pod, deep mattresses, picnic table...

My husband and I stayed for 1 night in the gypsy wagon. Our stay could have been so much better with just a few improvements. The wagon was o.k, although I wouldn't want to have more than a couple of nights in it, as it is cramped (not that we expected it to be spacious). There were lots of nice...

Stunning views but thats about the only positive I can say. Toilet & shower area very dated and dirty. The showers are push button so very tricky to wash when you have to keep pushing the button. Lots of cobwebs and dirt so not very inviting.

Unusual layout we didn't know that there was two sets of stairs one led to 2 of the bedrooms and the other staircase led to another 2 bedrooms which was a bit annoying. Only one bathroom has a shower the whole family all 10 of us used the shower like don't know anyone that actually uses a bath. We did...

We stayed in a pod at the site during half term. Some real positives here for anyone who camps or clamps. The dining area and games area are a great addition not seen at many sites. The microwave, kettle and fridge freezer for all to use is, again, a real positive. The pod itself was great, with fantastic views, warm,...

My family stayed in a normal size pod which I believe is slightly smaller than a family pod. That being said there was more than enough room for the four of us as all its really used for is sleeping in. On arrival to site I met the owner who was pleasant enough without being overly friendly, but as we...
