    Brilliant accommodation, with a separate bedroom for the kids, great food in the restaurant and an extremely warm welcome and very friendly staff. Watching the badgers feeding at night was a great bonus!

    It is just over 1 mile from Ambleside, in the little village of Rydal. A nice 20minute walk

    Hello This company does mini-bus tours from the hotel mountain-goat. Based in Windermere The hotel is 2km from Ambleside. There are buses (at least 1 per hours) or taxis
