Yes there are plenty of pubs turn right out of the guest house, at the end of the street is about 100 yards and you are then in the little hustle and bustle of the town with pubs, restaurants and cafes. The whole street is free parking if you can find a space, but also right opposite the guest house just get away is a paid car park if you're if you're using successful on the street. Keep checking the road outside and you'll probably then be able to get a space.
