On arrival to lodge 2, we realised there were no towels or soap, even though they were advertised as being provided on the website. We asked in reception and the receptionist told me that the lodge was fully self catering, so they don't usually provide towels?!, but she did provide us with some. Luckily we brought our own soap. The...

Hotel looked nice but stayed in one of the Lodges. Beds and shower good. Otherwise basic and in need of refurb/decent clean. Only one cup between 4 at the start, although this was quickly rectified. Not sure I'd return.

After ready some rather terrible reviews I felt compelled to write my own experiences at Storrs lodges and the hotel itself. When arriving at the lodges for a family wedding in the hotel we were told our lodge was still be cleaned so we're offered a complimentary drink. After a short wait the kind staff showed us to our lodge...

Disappointed! Previous stays in a Lodge at Storrs Hall have been better and I feel that perhaps they are letting standards slip. Furnishings in the lounge are shabby and I have seen better sofas on our local tip. Cutlery and other items were missing when we arrived and needed chasing up (twice). They did arrive with a bottle of wine...

Awful . The location was the only thing going for this place , rubbish left near overflowing bins . Cobwebs everywhere , bulbs slotted into holes with no wiring fire alarms not working , mould , damp , unclean to an unhealthy level . Sorry to much to write .

This place was the worst accommodation I have ever stayed in, dirty, unkept, not maintained at all. Smoke alarm broke ( taken away and not replaced) health and safety, only one key for front and back door ( fire and safety issue), massive pile of rubbish at entrance/car park, what a disgusting sight , bedside light no bulb but plugged...

We stayed in a lodge which is located away from the main hotel building. It was a 2 bedroom apartment with a view of the lake. Ideal for our family of four. We enjoyed our stay at the apartment. We didn't spend any time in the hotel itself, but the grounds were lovely. The location is great just a short...

This was a last minute booking and travelling with our dog limited our options. Thankfully it was only for one night. I am fussy...but this is not a place I would even take my socks off. The smell as soon as we opened the door to 104 almost knocked me out. The bathroom had a bottle of conditioner and a...

What an amazing thing it is to take your child on holiday for the first time! On our way up to Scotland we decided to book a lodge at Storrs Hall for £165 for one night self catering... I wish I hadn't. It is DREADFUL. We are in lodge 2 and it is run down, unfinished and uncomfortable! We are...
