Tim and Kathy are really friendly, and willing to share travel information to us. The room is really pretty. I booked a single room and there is an adorable sofa! I feel like being home. They provide free wifi in the house, but it is a little weak in the second floor (the ground floor and the first floor are...

Visited as a family for the weekend, we had a great time, Haisthorpe House is located with easy strolling distance to the lovely shops and cafes in Windermere town. Also a short walk to the stunning lake Windermere. Perfect.

had an amazing time in this guest house, you will never run out of things to do with the amount of brochures this guest house keep downstairs. Visited this guest house thinking about location and price and came out thinking I probably should have stayed there for the actual rooms themselves!

Diana made us feel welcome and responded to our every request. Lovely and comfortable home in a great location, close to town and many places to eat. Sound of shod horses going down the street in the mornings added to the country atmosphere. Shower controls took a bit of getting used to but good pressure and temperature. We would recommend...

Warm welcome to this boarding house. Pleasant en suite room. Disappointed to discover breakfast was not available despite there being a fully equipped breakfast room. Room and bathroom clean. Did not see the owner again after initial welcome until we left and bill required paying.

Hostess finger pointed guests, very bossy. Bath room window is no curtains and the light didn't work, too. They have lots of policies differ to hotels and other B&B. And we didn't get their policies when we ordered the room.

We recently stayed in Room 1 at this nice, well located B&B. The room was a good size and worth paying for the upgrade, but unfortunately the whirlpool bath wasn't working whilst we were there. Nice breakfast in the morning - we had the sweet potato and chestnut hash which made a nice change from the traditional full English. Also...

One word, gorgeous. This is a cosy and very welcoming guest house! The stay here was for my 21st birthday from my mum and stepdad and from the moment we got here, me and my boyfriend have loved every minute! Our cooked breakfast on the first morning was outstanding and filled us up nicely ready for a long day of...

We stayed here for 3 nights for a much needed getaway and will certainly be coming back again. The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. The room was very cosy, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the view from the window was lovely. We both had the full English breakfast on the first morning which was great...
