A beautiful hotel with glamorous, old style decor! We loved it! The spa was lovely, it was so nice to sit in the hot tub overlooking the lake and beyond :-) Our bedroom had a lake view which we did not expect and was very nice. The room had a kettle, tv, hairdryer and ensuite. Our bed was comfortable and...

Visited for two days with my partner and young daughter, the staff were very friendly and the view was great but couldn't enjoy it due to condensation on the windows. Had to check out a day early because I didn't want my daughter in the room with mouldy curtains. I didn't mention to staff because as I said they were...

From start to finish it was fantastic, so relaxing. The room was lovely overlooking the lake. Food in the restaurant was excellent worth every penny. Only downside bed needed attention and the toilet was squashed between shower and wall, very cosy when your tall!!! Booking Ref 1657389470;9992

Lovely location but a disappointing room. We booked a select plus and were located in an area of the hotel we were informed on arrival was being refurbished. Our room was obviously one not yet refurbished. The bathroom was tired and worn, all the floor tiles were cracked, skirtings rotting. The shower poor, at 5ft 7 I was too tall...

This was our first visit here in March for my wife's birthday. We have stayed at several hotels in the Lake District and visit on a regular basis. We experienced outstanding service in the dining room. Some of the comments are quite unreal. If you want top notch food and surroundings go to the Macdonald hotel in the centre of...

My wife and I absolutely love this hotel. Great facilities, super spa, amazing views and truly wonderful staff. We have stayed a few times here and enjoy it as a place to come for a rare night away ( we have two young daughters). To emphasise what a great place this is, we had to leave within two hours of...

This hotel is in beautiful calm surroundings. The Spa is relaxing, However the communal changing area is extremely small with only 2 small shower rooms, some of the small lockers do not work so we had to take our personal belongings into the pool area with us. There are only 6 loungers around the indoor pool, obviously not enough. The...

We have just returned home from the beech hotel, were we stayed for two nights as a couple for 21st birthday present.. we were underwhelmed at the rooms, from experiencing many hotels I would not say the rooms were worth the money, our 'double bed' was two singles pushed together and the room was small with no fridge and a...

My partner & I have just returned from a 2 night break at the Beech Hill Hotel. It was absolutely fantastic. The hotel sits right on the edge of Lake Windermere, with stunning views across the lake. We were lucky enough to have a lake view room which was lovely. There are lovely leisure facilities including pool, sauna, steam room...
