We stayed in The Willowsmere during the October break with our 2 children. Our room was amazing, we upgraded to the 4 poster bedroom. Our children were in the twin room opposite and the room was equally amazing. I have to say it was the best breakfast I've had in awhile, we will definitely be back. Jason was very knowledgeable...

Only stayed last night for one night. Arrived early evening and left first thing this morning. A beautiful house with an immaculate room . Breakfast was superb . Would definitely stay again. Only downside is the pillows are wafer thin but that's just my opinion . Thanks to the staff and owners.

Received a very warm welcome, great breakfasts along with a lovely room and ensuite. Jason (Manager) went above and beyond the call of duty, as requested by our family he arranged a surprise for us on our arrival as it was our wedding anniversary, bubbly, it brought a tear to my eye. The honesty bar is a great idea. Perfect...

Great B&B. Great shower. Lovely house and garden. Attentive staff. Great breakfast. Going walking ... talk to Anthony, what he doesn't know you don't need. Creaky bed though !! Could do with better Wi-Fi, but not a deal breaker for us. Thanks.

Hi Kelvin C, many thanks for your review, much appreciated. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and appreciated the local knowledge. Apologies about the WiFi issue, we recently upgraded to fibre optic broadband (only just reached Windermere!) and it proved a difficult transition but I'm happy to report it is now sorted. Not sure about the bed, I've obviously checked...

I visited Windermere with a big group and stayed here for two days. It was a shame that we didn't plan to stay longer - lovely house, clean and cozy rooms, and excellent service. Knowing we were leaving at 7am, Jason the hotel manager left a message in every room (we have 8 rooms!) that he would open the breakfast...

Run by very friendly and relaxed host. Our room was recently updated - very good standard of bathroom. Breakfasts were very good standard. Gardens lovely out of the back of the sitting room. Highly recommended as a base for exploring the lakes and enjoying the very neaby Windermere facilities including a wide range of restaurants.
