      A good rest after a hard day on the fells

      Good location, comfortable bed, dedecent bar, hot shower and substantial tasty breakfast. That's all you need after you have walked about 20km up and over the fells and your legs are about to buckle: that is precisely what the hotel delivered.

      Weekend away

      Had a fantastic time staying here .Staff are amazing the chef served up some beautiful food . We would recommend this hotel it's lovely we will return when we are back in the area thank you to all staff you are all fantastic

      Good evening The hotel is a 12 minute walk from the station. There are also taxis at the station who can drive to us in less than 5 minutes. Please call me at the hotel if you wish to book

      Yes, I believe there is. But if there wasn't a hairdryer in the room, management is so obliging I am sure they would find one for you.

      I doubt it; most rooms seem to be up a tortuous staircase which is not easy for able bodied people.
