We stayed at the Annisgarth for a night and must say how surprised we were by the quality of the room. The price was very reasonable and the family very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and the one issue I had was dealt with swiftly and even resulted in a lovely bottle of cava being left in my room.... More

We absolutely loved our stay in Windermere. We booked a superior king room which was perfect. The host was lovely, the rooms kept very clean and just a short walk around the corner to the main road with restaurants and shops. We opted not to do breakfast at the B&B as from memory it was a bit pricey, and we... More

had to wait to check in as nobody was in so had to wait for the host to be bothered to finally turn up to check us in. this should have been our first clue and we should have run for the hills and book somewhere else! this is a bed and breakfast who doesn't do breakfast so really it... More

We stayed in Annisgarth for our 2 nights in the Lakes. This lovely place provided the perfect base for exploring the area. Our room was great - clean and very comfortable. Sharron was a wonderful host. Highly recommended. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to the area.

Really nice B&B in an ideal location for exploring the area! A 5 minute walk takes you into the heart of Bowness with all the pubs and shops and obviously the lake! We had the top floor room, which was superb, really cosy/homely feel to it and plenty of room. The spa bath was amazing and just what was needed... More

We stayed for one night in the attic room. The room was beautiful and perfect for our stay. Sharon was the perfect host and very welcoming. Location was great and easy walk for both the lake and town centre. Would highly recommend.

This was a fantastic little B&B. The woman who checked us in was so lovely. She also had a cat which is a bonus. The room was lovely even though we had to leave the room to use the toilet, but it was a lovely place in a good location and it was quiet and lovely. Definitely be going again!

Stayed at Annisgarth in the attic room for two nights. The room was absolutely beautiful, very clean and the en-suite bathroom was pristine! The spa bath was amazing and just what we needed after a long day of walking around the lakes. The owner was friendly but not in your face, which suited us perfectly. She was happy to help... More
