Just returned from a 2 night stay, and have had a great time. Lovely warm welcome from Jackie. The room was really spacious, well decorated and comfortable. Breakfasts, good choices and particularly enjoyed the 'no calories' full english breakfast ;-) Located inbetween Windermere and Bowness so ideal for walking to both locations. Will definately recommend. Lynn and Steve.

This was our 3rd Visit to The Ravenscroft, we have stayed in a different room each time we have stayed and ALL are beautiful & individually decorated by the owner herself...Jackie. We stayed for 2 nights for our anniversary & I couldn't fault ANYTHING. It is ideally situated for BOTH Windermere & Bowness on Windermere, only a short walk to...

We stayed at ravencroft as a stopover on a trip to Scotland. We received a very warm welcome from Jackie, and had a welcoming pot of tea and cake while basking in the sunshine on the patio. The location is ideal with just a ten minute walk to either Bowness, or Windermere. Bowness tends to have more going on with...

Small friendly hotel with great attention to detail and situated midway between Windermere and Bowness (approx 10 min walk to each). We chose the de-lux room No. 1 which was spacious and beautifully decorated with a very comfortable bed and a small lounge area. The breakfast was excellent with a great choice of food. Jackie the hostess was very friendly...

I took my Mum away for a birthday treat for one night and I couldn't have picked a better B&B! Their website looked great, but I telephoned to make the booking and I spoke to the owner Jackie who immediately made me feel at ease and I just couldn't wait to stay after that. It was very easy to find...
