This hotel offers a good value for money Base for your stay in Blackpool. It is extremely clean and the owners are very welcoming. The breakfast if brilliant catering for you individual needs. Very close to the pleasure beach and Wetherspoon Velvet Coaster pub with tram and bus stops there as well.

This is a shabby little hotel. We didn't have a shower because it wasn't very clean. The bed was clean and comfy and the breakfast was nice enough. The manager was helpful. The room was very small but okay for a night or two!! We would come back to this hotel for a short break. It was £42 for the...

Just come back after a weekend away at the Marsden, I read the reviews before I went and was dreading what I was going to find, but I must say it was top class from the bedroom to the superb breakfast, couldn't fault it, so it just goes to show, don't be put off with bad reviews.

Dreary decor, mugs stinking of bleach!!, dirty bathroom with carpet!!!, painted toilet, mouldy shower cubicle with painted over tiles, dirty shower head, almost blocked with dust/fluff extractor fan and a loo brush covered in toilet paper! Lovely, nottttt!!!!!. The corridors were dusty and...

However the bathroom looked as though it had been forgotten in the changeover clean. Was really dirty to the point where we had to clean it before we used it....

Stayed at the Marsden for one night on the 9th September. Nice little hotel. Has the facility of off road parking, which is secure. A great price for two people to spend the night with breakfast. Staff were very friendly, good customer service as the gentleman engaged with us regarding our plans during the stay in Blackpool and also asked...
