What can I say the reviews were mixed from here so took it on Facebook value that you can't please all, most of the comments were about the size in beds. The new owners have already started the changes to improve and I was lucky to be the first in the new bed, memory foam mattresses are great. Breakfast was...

Very friendly place to stay. Service from the new owners is second to none. Breakfast is superb, rooms very comfortable. Look forward to coming back again sooner than expected. Would have no hesitation in giving the Darfield 10 out of 10 right across the board. Very clean and inviting. Do not overlook this hotel which is in a very central location.

Yes, hotel needs modernising but this is more than made up for in the lovely new owners hospitality. Breakfast superb from 7.30 to 9.30, rooms...

Really nice layout, working tv, quaint little shower room and a little cupboard. They had working kettle and had coffee etc available. Lovely friendly welcome by both owner and...

En-suite was tiny but clean. Breakfast was nice with choice of full English and cereals. Although it was ok, I probably wouldn't stay there...
