The hotel was very familiar to me from childhood visits to the resort, albeit I had never stayed here, before. It is a wonderful Victorian building which, for the most part, is kept in excellent condition. Staff were outstanding, albeit there always seemed to be a queue at reception. My room, although a superior room, had a very tired bathroom...

Had 2 nights which was half work and half leisure. The hotel is a very nice building and generally ok. The rooms ate dated but clean but need some upgrading. When I say upgrading I mean the bathroom was tired and well used, the windows were very dirt and carpets and general decoration was border line scruffy. The bed was...

Thoroughly enjoyed a 3 night break at the hotel with our grandkids 11 & 9 a bit pricey but was ideal with the kids bunk beds in off the main room, giving us all a bit of privacy. Our eldest is a tall kid though and bed was too small for him but we still had a job getting him...

My Boyfriend and I booked into this hotel when we were booked in to a B&B for two nights, however the B&B was that bad we looked for somewhere else for our second night. We got a room in this hotel. It was MUCH better than where we were. The bed was very comfortable, lovely sea view. Bad points, the...

Dear Guest, thanks so much for your recent review, I do appreciate it. I'm so sorry that you were unhappy with your room size; it is such a shame you did not mention this as I feel sure we could have shown you an alternative. You're right that all of the rooms are differing shapes and sizes with some smaller...

Stayed here for 2 night on business when attending a conference; while the hotel is certainly dated and in need of a refurb it does maintain some of the old seaside charm you would expect from a hotel of this type. The rooms were clean enough (although lacking electrical points and the TV didn't have USB connectivity) but the bathroom...

Dear HumberBridgers, how lovely to read your review, I'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us and had to smile when I read about your lunch - it's a bit of a surprise isn't it, but tastes just the best out of a seaside bucket! As we enter a new phase of refurbishment the USB ports and additional electrical...

Another 5 stars for this beautiful hotel, we stayed there last night and are never disappointed with the experience, Love it! Must give a mention to the young man who checked us in, he was really helpful & nothing was any trouble. I've been there many times now and look forward to many more.
