First of all I must say that in its day this would have been a beautiful almost palatial hotel! We weren't able to check into room till 3pm. After asking to have room closer too lift were only able to have a double instead of twin.Room 313 our key card didn't work. Down to reception and key card taken not replaced and workman sent up to open door. Upon entry room was tiny and dirty.. Back down to reception...

Stayed here for an overnight stay. Arrived early so had lunch in the cafe/bar. Good value sandwich with salad and crisps cake and a cup of tea for £4.50. Booked in at 3pm but one of the restaurant's were closed so as that was in our package we had £5 deducted from the bill. Room was okay clean and tidy...

Without doubt the most utterly rank hotel room i have ever had the misfortune to stay in. Everything in the room is broken dirty and ill fitting. Bare wires protruding. Old screw holes in the wall. Peeling wallpaper. Dusty. Ancient tv. Ancient furniture. Is the wall colour off white or is it just 50 years of dirt? Horrific brown stains...

Hotel is in a general state of disrepair throughout. Top price sea view rooms are tatty, dirty and boast peeling wallpaper and broken furniture. Bathrooms don't bear a review at all. The most amusing part of our stay was realising there were no towels in our room and having to visit reception at 2am to get some. From the discussion...

Good for all shops and nights out it is central near all amendments beach good views of sea as its on sea front the hotel is al lot cleaner now has had rooms all painted It was getting run down but nice and clean now we had a lovely stay will be back

This really needs to be put forward to the hotel inspector absolutely disgusting! Very old fashioned mold damp walls food poor! No chair in lift for people bad with stairs , staff rude needs closing and having a total make over or closing for good

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read and LISTEN to this review !!!! Avoid this hotel like the plague I never leave reviews but this is that bad I feel I need to. Do not waste your money!! The hotel stinks and I mean stinks. It is filthy, there is damp mouldy walls. The que for refunds is bigger than the Pepsi max....
