We have been going to the Claremont for over 25 years and enjoyed every stay. This time it was a special occasion. It was a joint 70th Birhday for our husbands and where else to have a party! Our party consisted of 33 family and friends most of who have been before and didn't hesitate to say yes when we...

Just stayed for a long weekend with my family and was not impressed by this hotel, We had a room on the first floor which was very old fashioned, like something from the past. The food in the restaurant was very nice. We found the staff on reception to be not helpful at all and even rude once. There is...

A wet mid-week stay in "Bleakpool"! Reception/foyer is far too small for such a large hotel and is poorly situated on the only thoroughfare between the restaurant,"ballroom" and bars, which means at times the place is overwhelmed and it is difficult to get served. For a place that has 6 floors,a single lift with an 8 person capacity is totally inadequate...multiple...

We were really impressed with the quality and choice of the meals. Couldn't fault the food or the service. Room was basic but comfortable and clean, only downside was a noisy vent that kicked in at 6 am outside our window! Nice little swimming pool and entertainment every night. Husband very impressed that the smoking shelter had a heater! Hotel...

We stayed for 4 nights, a mini break booked thru Majestic to see the lights. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was a lot better than some hotel showers I've come across... it worked with plenty of hot water! The food is excellent value for money. Breakfast is an all you can eat buffet...
