Afternoon tea was lovely , service was poor and the coffee was cold. They also hang over you like vultures when your time is up. Two meals in the Brasserie , fish platter was lovely but could have done with a little more bread, the roasted vegetable salad was poor, a large wedge of rocket , no dressing, roasted vegetables...

We had afternoon tea here as a birthday celebration - great view across the bay from our window table. A little cramped as there were 4 of us plus a high chair sandwiched between two other tables - only one of the two dining areas was in use so all guests were in the same room. Plenty of good quality...

My friend and I booked a two night stay. Before we set off, I received a call from the booking company asking us to choose from the menu for our first night's evening meal. We chose from the menu and when we arrived at the hotel, we were told to be seated in the dining room by 7.30, which we...

We went as a big treat. The penthouse is wrapped around half of the hotel on one side overlooking the beautiful bay and on the other the victorian train station (which is where the hot tub is) The staff are charming and it would have made it even better if the manager had taken the trouble to take us up...

We have stayed here before because we love the location - right on the sea front in Morecambe - and the building - but there is usually some issue that mars the experience and this time it was a very large and noisy wedding that kept us awake until 2am. It's a great place for a wedding I'm sure but...

Ok firstly the manager/owner John was very nice and very helpfull so thumbs up there. Lets move onto the hotel. The hotel had a general smell of damp which was over powering when walking in so maybe alarm bells should of rang. The room had a double bed which felt like lying on a bag of spanners as there were...

The hotel is filthy and the furniture has clearly been there since it opened. Beds are uncomfortable with springs sticking out everywhere with a horrible smell in the rooms. It is noisy with guests coming in and out with doors banging until early hours. The breakfast is served at 9am and most of the food has been pre-cooked and put...

We booked a family room by phone last minute. On arrival we thought the place looked shabby , dark and dull. The family room consisted of a double bed and bunkbeds with a very small shower room. It looked dated but we dumped our bags and went into Blackpool, returning 7 hours later very tired. The room smelt dusty and...
